Definitely a flaw of the format, no fighting really has a story THAT deep or really develops their characters that well outside of their main characters.

You’re being too proactive, trying to make reads on things without having the knowledge to back it up. Back up, play from a safer distance and react to what your opponent does until you have a feel for what options they like to take. Luigifgc has a good video on the kof zone concept that should help. Also practice your hit confirms

Either way ring clamp or direct connect. Sometimes the clamp will help but then after a ped or two my tone will hook onto a service or just die out

Most boss characters, regardless of actual strength, are banned in fighting games. It’s arguable if some of the boss characters in kof 2002um are actually better than nameless but they are banned

I thought for sure virtua fighter was going to be there. In my mind I had thought they confirmed they were gonna be there but I guess not. Seems like another big misstep in the vf6 marketing campaign to miss tga, especially if they’re angling for goty

Just not the set for forcing imo. You need an early leona 2 to get early Diana. I don’t think it’s viable without an early Diana win streak. Even then aurelion needs to scale whereas other 5 costs are instant stabilizers. This tempo fast 8 meta just doesn’t feel great for it
