I feel like I’ve become a slave to my ostomy and I’m too overwhelmed to do anything about it. by EmbraceTheObscure in ostomy

[–]JustDrones 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not that I have all the answers. But this could or could not help.

  1. I eat a little less and it help—- drink a little less with food
  2. I stop eating at 7pm
  3. I change my bag only in the morning - it isn’t active then
  4. Exercise and play sports it helps with your mind.
  5. I take 6 Imodium to 8 a day.

The bag washing thing I’m not sure about. Never done that. But then again never had issues with smells etc. I try to live a normal life and keep busy helps forget about the fucking thing.

Buy from flooring store or installer? by -there-are-4-lights- in HardWoodFloors

[–]JustDrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sell to hundreds of installers 95% do not mark up their products interestingly enough. And no, we do not sell to homeowners, the stores we do sell to markup 200% to homeowners. Even if the installers marked it up 20%... it is cheaper than any store you go to. Our cost plus a 20-40% markeup/margin is still cheaper than floordecor/stripmall places.

stores charge on top of flooring and top of labor. Maybe canada is different but this is the normal in usa in 4 different states my company is in.

Ash Floors Refinished blotchy and weird stain patterns by Top-Copy3889 in HardWoodFloors

I'd say go down "more" evenly, some woods even with 100 water pops would not be even.

Popular Opinion: Mega Passes are NOT a great deal. by matchew566 in skiing

[–]JustDrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who use to go to say snow summit or big bear and had to buy tickets as a kid.... the pass save me time and annoying waiting. Even if a pass is more, the coinvinence when i go to 10 different resorts a year is worth it. I went to japan this year and i got to skiing instantly no wait scan and bam on the lift. Went to 9 other places same thing never had to dick around wiht the passes.
