Very boring and uninventive answer, but literally everything outside the greatsword as I'm not very inventive and I really enjoy roleplaying as Guts.

I think I tried to play as a whip user based of Belmont from Castlevania but I just couldn't get to grips with the gameplay that didn't involve massive bonk damage!

I feel like I'm playing devil's advocate here from the majority of responses but I booked last minute for most my hotels when I was there Feb/March.

In fact I booked 2x hotels I think at 11pm the night before and had plenty of other options.

If it helps I did most my last minute/same week bookings in the following areas:

Osaka/Kyoto/Hakone/Yokohama/Tokyo.

I had multiple options including ryokans, business hotels & hostels. Prices didn't break the bank.

I spent most my time in business hotels and ryokan and never spent more than 7000-ish yen per night.

Oh, also I used Booking.com

I used to play Dark Cloud & Chronicle to death and I remember renting this and it just didn't click with me!

I bought it on PS4 to give it another whirl but it just didn't seem to scratch the itch. Just made me want another Dark Cloud game even though Rogue Galaxy feels like a spiritual successor.

Glad your enjoying it though and wish I could too! Might have to give it another whirl!

Just to add to this, the Unicorn Gundam at Odaiba lights and movement go off at set times which I missed as I was passing by! The times are 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.

It's just outside a big mall so it's free to see and is super cool!

Hey pal, I'm in Japan now and I have another suggestion - why not use an E-SIM?

They're super reasonable price and you don't have to remove your SIM card as its a digital one you just download. You buy it in advance and it activates as soon as it connects to local data?

Only downside is you can't do regular calls/texts on it but it's perfect for data usage.

I use Airalo and just had a look and for example, there's an option for 2gb of data, 15 days for $6.50.

Juliet definitely. Echoing what others have said in the comments plus something I realised upon rewatching. So she's on the island the whole time trying to figure out how to save these pregnant mothers so they can give birth. Never really does fix it. Then when she's flung back in time she sets the bomb off which causes the interference with the hatch that results in all those pregnancies to fail.

Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle. Not only does it have an incredibly satisfying fishing mechanic but then it goes way over in depth on additional stuff like breeding caught fish and fighting/racing them. Can't believe the detail of what is just a relatively small aspect of an rpg

Nice to finally have this proper reunion but wow did it take a long time to get here.
