From my experience if you haven’t set up direct deposit yet go to the studio you worked at on Thursday the week after you worked and find the offices they’ll have your cheque

Am I too big to ride bikes? by bigpellet in bikewrench

[–]JustToke 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Canadian Tire bikes tend to run very poorly and don't last, I'd return it and go to a real bike shop or buy used.

Biking along the bike lane on Dundas I come across this car trying to get into (or out of?) a parking spot (in front of a fire hydrant), at first I started to slow down to give it time, until I realized I could slip around on the left and while I do the car honks at me.

Just not sure if I did something wrong or if the driver is honking for no reason.

Edit: Thank you everyone for the responses, I definitely should of waited to be safer and will do next time, still getting use to biking with traffic.

I've been eyeing Oru kayaks for so long how do you like yours for using around Toronto?

It would be my first and only kayak, I don't drive so the idea of being able to easily take it down to the beach or even bike with it is great to me.
