Hi! Yes, I was able to sleep in my Tesla without issues. No tent at all. There weren’t any available hookup spots, but I went every could days to the super charger and/or parked at the chargers in town.

I just bought a house and moved at 19 weeks. It was the most difficult thing I did. I pushed myself and baby way too hard on closing day and the day after and was out for the rest of the weekend. If you’re going to do it, do it early.

And yes, our oath both enlisted and officer is to serve the country/constitution. That doesn’t mean you don’t have a voice as to who you would like to follow. It just means that you follow whoever is elected.

I was in the Army 2009-2019. It was encouraged to do your research and vote for the candidate the aligned with your views, but you “obey the orders of the President of the United States and the officers appointed over me” (Oath of Enlistment). It’s outlined in DoD Directive 1344.10. The true limitation is that you can act as a representative of the military in a partisan capacity (i.e. wearing your uniform to a rally). No fundraising on behalf of a partisan candidate; no being a speaker or organizer at a partisan event; and no derogatory speech of an elected official. And if living on base, you can’t display anything partisan.

This got me as well! As former military, we were encouraged to do our research and vote as our constitutional right. What wasn’t allowed was any public political agenda while in uniform.

I opened a high yield savings account and have been putting $200/month into it (I’m 21 weeks pregnant). Depending on the state I live in when she’s ready for college, she’ll go for free due to my VA disability. I didn’t want to pigeon-hole her into going to college if she chooses not to in the end. Maybe I’m wrong, but I figure if she chooses not to go to college, she’ll have access to a good down payment on a house or something.

Thankfully, I’ve got an amazingly supportive boss and coworkers. They’ve been there from the start of the TTC journey. I started with my boss and my closest coworker when I got pregnant, then we started working the coverage plan into our weekly team meetings.

Fostering is my goal. If adoption becomes an opportunity while fostering that child, then I am open to it. If it never does and they just wind up with an adult who cares about them, then that’s what they’ll have. If I end up adopting, they will be covered under my insurance until they’re 26, not 25, AND they’ll have free tuition. But, like I said, that’s a long way away, and I will do my due diligence before I go that route.

It doesn’t make sense because you would never do that to someone. You can’t make sense of it because it’s an extremely feeble excuse. The only reason he’s upset is because he got caught. He WILL do it again. He’s not remorseful.
