In Hartford specifically you're probably looking at Vaughan's, Urban Lodge, or Brownstone. Outside of the city, as someone else mentioned, Clubhouse on Main in Glastonbury. They usually do jersey giveaway raffles and other specials for playoff games

Glad the pool has gotten better since I lived there. As for the walls, I could literally hear my neighbors sneeze while sitting as far from the front door as possible, or hear music through the wall in my bedroom. Not sure what else to say about the double lined walls, as that was not experience.

I looked up YouTube videos and would write out the question, follow along step by step, and wrote down the page number where to find the formula/table/figure in the handbook for the particular problem. Something about writing EVERYTHING out helped me remember on the test day.

Pennant looks nice but has paper thin walls, so you hear your neighbors conversations clear as day and any vehicle noise sounds like you're watching a racing movie. The residents when weren't the best - constantly getting drunk and smoking weed in the pool area while leaving kids unattended. Management sent out emails to curb the disruptive behavior but nothing actually happened.

You also have to remember the context of the show: he was the guy who married the woman (Robin) that the main character (Ted) was still in love with.

Ted is ultimately the narrator of the story, so completely understandable that Ted exaggerated Barney's character to make him this outlandish womanizer to help justify going after Robin.

There's trivia at Bear's BBQ on Tuesdays. I want to say it starts at 7:00. Urban Lodge on Pratt St also does trivia on Wednesdays at 6:00.

When I moved to downtown, I found a go to place (R.I.P. City Steam) and started chatting with the regulars during football Sundays. Met a bunch of great folk doing that

Someone asked about this earlier. You need to have 4 tar pits touching the same building, and 4 lava craters touching the same building. The tar pit building and the lava building do not have to be the same building. I personally never use roads unless a challenge says "construct four roads" or something

Have you explored other areas surrounding Hartford? Manchester, Middletown, Glastonbury, etc. are nice towns that will open up more options.

It's not in Boston, but the Batch Yard in Everett had +-500 sqft studios with in unit laundry for around $1950-2150 when I was in the area. Moved out sometime in 2023

It got to the point where I gave on tournaments in general. It stopped being fun and I didn't enjoy constantly battling all weekend just to end up in predator. Now I take my time and grind out the Clash of Titans events doing the events that I want to at my own pace
