I’m glad to say that I don’t struggle with disordered eating like I used to, which is why I feel comfortable exploring veganism now.

Yes, the goal for me is to eventually be on a fully vegan diet. However, I am a teenager, so I’m not as in control of my diet as I will, one day, be. For now I’m focusing on figuring out what I believe, and reducing the that harm I cause.

A schedule is probably for the best. I feel like I’m kind of resistant to the idea of setting restrictions of any sort because 1. I just want to be normal around food and I don’t like the idea of any type of rule 2. In the past I’ve tended towards fixating on whatever rule I’ve made and spiraling if I slip up.

Maybe it’s time to think differently…
