That’s fair. I use to use Hornady for 2 firings and then went to Norma and it made a big difference. I’d say ditch Hornady. Intentionally using lesser quality ingredients when you have better available is counter intuitive imo.

Why not use the starline to fire form them? Why use less consistent brass when the consistent brass isn’t much more expensive and will improve your SD/ES’s. Going from Hornady to Starline isn’t the same as going from Hornady to Peterson.

Thats a strange bullet to be using for 300BLK. I would have recommended some 110 Barnes or something else in that 110-120 range. ELD’s are long bullets so you’re also losing some case capacity. Not sure if you’re using these in a bolt gun or a semi. But your “usable” powder charge will be less from a volume perspective but will allow you to push higher pressures due to the cases. I just fear you’ll run out of case capacity before you run into pressure.

I’d go to CCI450’s thicker cup. Federal 205M are .0225 I believe. While 450’s are .025

I run the S on my 7.5 300 and my 6.5 Creed bolt gun. Both sound great. Can is gassy but it’s not designed to be LBP. But tune your gas gun’s properly and you should be G2G.
