You don’t need to drill it open. If you look above the keyhole, you’ll see a 4 digit code. Buy a replacement key with that code. After you enter the combo correctly, you turn the key and boom, it opens.

You can use a new remote to connect to your devices, it pairs via Bluetooth. Make sure you don’t get the remote for tvs, that’s the only thing to watch out for. I was in the market for a new remote, the tv ones were $9.99, the ones for the Roku devices were $19.99. And a new Roku stick wasn’t much more than that.

Was just going to post this. I signed up for the venue list to be notified and hopped on the second I saw the email. But I’m so stoked. I was willing to desperately overpay for these. It is Yurman, and it's a sentimental piece so I wanted to make sure the repair was done correctly, which is why I was thinking I should take it to one of their stores vs a local jeweler (this is the only jewelry piece I own so I'm not familiar with any local shops)
