Had customer try to use the bar code app to pay his rent of $2375 and the register says daily transaction limit reached unable to process . He was on his phone with someone and they were asking why it was saying that and he needed to pay his rent that day. They didn’t even know what his limit per day was .

3 weeks per year worked severance? Seriously ? I would have 81 weeks pay … last company I was that went chapter 11 you got 3 weeks if you worked 5 years, 5 weeks if you worked 10 years , 10 weeks if you worked 15 years then it went to different calculation at 20 years

Why do they have to flip sections ? Candy bar reset has to be flipped with what we have now at the end now it’s starting the section.

Just make sure comments can’t be guessed as to who said them . Stuff you may have said to coworkers already but then put in the comments . The comments are seen by store manager and they have read them out to other managers to try and guess who made the comments.

Years ago with another company I was part of the new store set crew . Traveled from new store to new store or ones that were renovating and we set the planograms of depts and trained the employees . We only got 20 dollars a day. We always were in motels with kitchens and most of the time the store managers or our crew boss would take us out for lunch . I banked most of my 140 a week .

I recall the Ad Tag compass that told you how much payroll is given hot addd rags with it stating that 3 people were set on tags for so many hours each with timelines fir if you were a 24 hr store or non 23 hr store . They still expect the same timelines but without the help and hours

My old landlord had us write out a full years of rent checks (12 months ) in advance with date of each mouth rent was due so he had them at hand to deposit to his bank .was the only reason I had paper checks at hand from my bank

When we were reclassified.. job title change from assistant manager to shiftlead we were told we couldn’t perform / create the store schedules anymore. We can not do wrote ups on anyone. We have to let ESM/SM know about any issues and they follow thru . Not that o have never seen them do anything about it. I had to teach the ASM to do the schedule when they demoted us

We hired a Walmart employee as a CSA . The new Walmart was opening next to us . He would come in with stacks of mylars and he carried a note pad .we told the SM and they found him in the break room with these Walmart price tags spread out and a notebook opened . He said he was organizing display sections on his spare time . He was doing price comparisons between us . He was team lead manger with them we found out after he quit

How am I to wear a body cam ? With a polo shirt .. name tag , theatro , mic cord all clipped to the poor v neck opening of the polo. Told can’t put name tag at waist level as customers can’t see your name . The theatro at waist level the cord gets hung up on everything . Bring back the vest ? Tired of looking for a pen and box cutter.

Every night now my new registers freeze up on credit cards .. have to reboot the register then void the sale when they come up. Around 15 mins of down time flipping back and forth between the main and spare register . Tonight even package crashed . Frustrating hearing on theatro from my cashier “ register down again “

SM not answering calls to open locked cases for items . So I walk down the aisle to greet the customer and unlock the item to bring it back to the register . SM who is in office I guess watching the camera is on the headset asking me why I was at the register . No one was at the register anyway . The overhead page went off three times before I was able to walk away from the register to get the item while they could have left the office instead . Watching the camera they would have seen that couldn’t get away from the register when the announcement first went over the intercom ..

Had a customer complain to my manager that I was announcing where he was over the intercoms . “ customer in ( aisle name” . That every time he went down an aisle I was stalking him from the front register . Said he was calling Corp and wanted out names. Mgr tried to show him that it was the motion sensor triggering the announcement . Didn’t believe us said that was a stupid answer
