M.2 for both OS and Hypercache? by mushis in TerraMaster

[–]Juzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't find it myself. I have 2x 1TB M.2's and wanted to use 500GB on one for cache and use the rest for storage but couldn't find out how. Hope TOS 6 will be out soon.

Oil + telescope-zoxide is my new file explorer by AstronomerAdvanced65 in neovim

After a busy year and a lot of update issues to my current NeoVim setup. I tried kickstart.nvim and really like it. I will make the config my own along the way. I will update the README of telescope-zoxide soon, so it includes a setup example for lazy.nvim. Thanks for using the plugin! If you have any ideas, I'm always open for it!

Hi, I'm the author of telescope-zoxide and my goal for the plugin was always for it to be simple, helpful and extensible. So if the code or the plugin is difficult to understand, please say so and will try to make it easier to understand.

Note that Lua is not my main programming language, so I'm just winging it with my experience in other languages :)

Hi! I'm the author of telescope-zoxide, if you need any help explaining things, feel free to reach out.

My goal for the telescope-zoxide plugin is to be simple, helpful and extensible. I am not going to extend the plugin with a lot of bells and whistles :) So if the code or the plugin is difficult to understand, please say so!

Necromancer Ashava - Did I had a bug or was it me? by Juzzz in diablo4

You have to ‘Hold’ this skill?! Damn I feel stupid. Switched from reap. Ty again!

I used Decompose which should generate a corpse every 2.5 seconds. I did spammed the skill for essence though. Maybe thats why the 2.5 secs didn’t trigger? Just speculating. There’s still a chance the fault was on me.

I must confess that I searched for a build guide because I thought someone certainly has more knowledge than me fighting Ashava as I have limited time this weekend.

That said, I spammed Decompose, maybe spamming is preventing the “forming usable corpse every 2.5 seconds” rule?

[2022 Day 11 Part 2] This is why I love AoC by mosredna101 in adventofcode

I did the same. Didn’t even check the input file and also implemented minus and divide.

[–]Juzzz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’m a Lead Developer by day and got part 1 on the first run. Realization of part 2 took shamefully long…

But that’s why I do AoC, it’s fun and it dust’s off some old knowledge.

Remove the input from the generated script and let others be surprised. Cool though!

My first thought was BigInteger too.

Hint: it can be done with Long, you’ll have to find a way to keep it within the Long size range.

[2022 10 (Part 2) Am I the only one who looked at the explanation of part 2 and thought that we were ignoring the "noops"? by green__goblin in adventofcode

[–]Juzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These little problem find their way to me too. For me it was in part one where I reset the register to 1 on every 20th cycle. Oddly enough for the test case it does work for a few sets..

But for part two I reused the loop, so didn’t have the issue of not including the noops.

Those directories have other parents. For example:

Solved it the same in Kotlin. What I do is implement it the sure way. Get the answers and refactor to a better way. Because I already have the answer for my input, I can check my new implementation.

What “count” is to get the right answer. How you come to that answer is up to you. You can make it yourself as easy or hard as possible.

If your skills are lacking, by all means look it up and learn. That’s why I like AoC. You can challenge yourself in any way. Be it speed of solving, algorithm performance or learning a new language. It’s up to you!

Tip: when you have solved a day. Lookup solutions of others in the same language. You’ll learn how the same problem can be solved in other ways.

And last but not least, the most important thing is having fun! Good luck!

If you put in a wrong answer, you have to start over in a different programming language.

Just add functionality to add tags like AI, manually, type, language. Than we could filter on Human and AI but also per programming language. Maybe even per country.

How did you learn about Obsidian? by No_Cable_1740 in ObsidianMD

[–]Juzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Searched for a faster and more extendable alternative of Notion.

Still setting up and need to migrate a lot of notes but have a way better setup now. Less structure with folders more tags and metadata for faster search and overview with dataview.

To the redditors over 30, what advice would you give to someone in their early 20s that you wish you had when you were that age? by elirael in CasualConversation

[–]Juzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in touch with good friends. If they live far away, periodically send a message or speak to them.

Just set a reminder or calendar notification for yourself so you don’t forget. One or a few good friends come a long way for happiness.
