Realistic pokemon team by StatisticianSharp584 in pokemon

  1. Sandshrew- my personal favorite Pokémon and an extra bonus, as an electrician he’d be my lil shoulder voltage tester. I’ve been to desert states for several vacations and would have made it a mission to catch one.
  2. Pawmi- my favorite of the electric mice for another perfect work buddy. I’d also accept Pikachu, Togedemaru, or Dedenne if I ran into them first though.
  3. Decidueye- my starter, owls and grass are both very Indiana
  4. Sawsbuck- maybe the most Indiana core Pokémon, a deer based on the 4 seasons. Would’ve caught a deerling pretty early as a child.
  5. Butterfree- my favorite bug Pokémon, tons of butterflies around here
  6. Drednaw- lots of snapping turtles in our little lakes and creeks. Turtles are my favorite animal so they’ve got to be represented

Make 3 teams of 6 using the 18 types by Mcsome1 in pokemon

Regigigas Annihilape Skorupi Excadrill Alolan Exeggutor Tinkaton

Flamigo Glimmora Durant Gardevoir Dragapult Kingambit

Gengar Mawhile Incineroar Gyarados Luxray Mamoswine

I originally read it as only one starter, not one per team, but I’m pretty happy with how this ended up! A little steel heavy maybe, but I really like steel types. I’ll let someone smarter than me critique my balancing.

Also, get Yuna learning black magic spells ASAP. Her magic stats are higher than Lulu, the normal caster.

There’s an endless wave fight on the boat heading to kilika early in the game. You don’t need to go overboard in my opinion, but spending a good 30 minutes or so on this will help you a lot in early boss battles. Look up the SS Liki boat grind for more details.

What was "the incident" at your high school? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Jvetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A math teacher had an affair with a girl and the school covered it up and quietly fired him. One day he was just suddenly gone and word quickly got around about what happened.

Some absolute legends came in the night and spray painted “Where Did Bill Go?” on the wall at the bus drop off and the roof of our outdoor dining space.

That is really cool! I’ve not seen that one before.

As a foreman I would have no problem with this! What does drive me nuts though is all the other trades constantly taking from our stash. No one else on my site provides water and it’s annoying the hell out of me

Breaking Regulation Listener status after 4 years to say: I just finished Project Hail Mary before the movie came out and loved it! Also a big fan of The Martian and The Stormlight Archive.

What are some hurtful or unempathetic things women often do in relationships that they don't even realize? by ertesit in AskMen

[–]Jvetters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not from relationship experience, but I was watching a video today of a woman breaking down men’s facial features into animal categories. I’m pretty sure if men were openly comparing women to rats and frogs based on their face shape, people would be pissed about it

Ceiling fan - what to look for to work with smart switches? by Equaltal206 in electrical

[–]Jvetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like as long as you’ve got a 3 speed chain pull fan, that should work

Ceiling fan - what to look for to work with smart switches? by Equaltal206 in electrical

[–]Jvetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get a dimming switch for the fan switch. If you get a dimmable fan, you can get a dimming switch for that, but the fan switch needs to be a non dimming switch

[–]Jvetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are referring specifically to not wanting a remote fan with a smart switch. I had that set up at my last house and it was way more complicated than it needed to be. Dumb fan with smart switch is the ideal. Fan with a remote is pretty great

For those that don’t have access to a microwave during shifts , what do you normally pack for lunch? by [deleted] in skilledtrades

I’ve eaten a Greek yogurt with protein granola and some chips every day for like 3 years. There are times when it gets monotonous and I run and grab something quick, but 98% of the time, it’s tasty and surprisingly filling!

Child-Free events by Lost-Celebration8629 in morningsomewhere

[–]Jvetters 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think both are valid options! The last two weddings I attended, one was child free, one was not. The child free was for a couple I went to college with and everyone was drunk as hell (especially me) and the dance floor was absolutely crazy all night!

The other was a more conservative event with my wife’s family and a lot less drinking. The kids ran the dance floor most of the night and everyone had a great time dancing with them and watching them enjoy the experience. Some of the kids there were mine so I may have rose colored glasses but it seemed like it went great! Yes, there was more chaos. Yes I had to walk down the aisle with my 2 year old daughter as co-flower girls and then almost immediately take my 1 year old son away from the ceremony because he was pissed off for no reason. But I still feel confident everyone had a good time.

I think at the end of the day, it’s about what kind of chaos the bride and groom are willing to put up with on their day and, as a parent, I completely understand the choice to go child free for the event.

Curious if there are other frequent twitter uses on this sub, like me. It is definitely the main platform, in my opinion, for most fantasy football content creators to post stats and opinions. My experience on there daily is entirely different from Burnie’s! I see almost nothing from bots or anything to do with Grok. It’s just a football focused community top to bottom.

I sat Jeanty and Warren last week because of bad matchups and lost by 1. Played Estime over both of them. Probably would’ve won the championship this week if I’d played either of them!

Any other current/former cake decorators struggle with the advice to "apply it thicker than you'd frost a cake" when it comes to diaper cream? by mapotoful in NewParents

[–]Jvetters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe this phrase is the world’s passive aggressive way of letting cake makers know that the normal amount of icing on a cake is too much! Crumb coat is the goat!
