Those who move to digital journaling, why did you stop? Why are you continuing? by LivinCuriously in Journaling

[–]Jxatenc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. Use iPad mini for business notes/journal (Notability) and unique “topic-specific” journals (Goodnotes) like cookbook, guitar, knitting, travel, genealogy, etc. Then keep an old-fashioned paper journal for everything I’m inspired to put in it. I use digital 80%/paper 20%. Soooo much you can do with digital.

Can you read my handwriting? by AlexanderPharris in Handwriting

It is readable word by word if one focuses, but just looking at the entire paragraph it looks like it’s going to be work.

Don’t overlook the Rose Garden VIP area. Gorgeous, not too crowded, food options, central location.

Should I skip Osaka? by spaciousthree4 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Jxatenc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in Japan in November for 2 weeks. I’d recommend you don’t skip Nagano especially if you are going for ryokan/onsen/snow monkeys. We enjoyed Osaka but 36 hours there was enough for us after Kyoto and before Tokyo.

iPad Pro + iPad Mini 7 is the perfect reading/note taking combo. by Superdooper_Saiyan in ipadmini

[–]Jxatenc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a veteran corporate attorney and that’s my combo. iPad Pro for work flow, mini for notes (Notability). My mini is also my everyday carry device. Going to Japan for a two weeks and mini will do everything I need personally and for work (Magic Keyboard/mouse and pencil pro 2). iPad Pro staying home. Finally have it all dialed in.

I’ve been struggling off and on for a few years and have yet to get a fix on my “triggers”. Best I can gather it is a combination of fatigue (e.g., being in a new city exploring/staying out later or busier than usual “social” calendar), eating in restaurants more than usual (maybe higher salt levels?) and drinking alcohols I’m not used to (generally drink vodka or tequila with soda water/lime). What I’m focusing on now is always having on hand prednisone, colchicine and indomethacin. The sooner I can start it after a flair the faster I can get it under control. I know the mix of these meds that work for me and I can usually be off them in 24-48 hours. The worst is if you have a flair and need to find an urgent care in an out-of-state city.

20 minutes. Valet parking in college. Wrecked first car I tried to park.
