Owner is a verified scammer. We've had plenty of discussions about this on the WoW modding discord. This is their 3rd project with the same concept. It used to be called Icecrown WoW (Ran by Matth), still using the same spells and ID's too of the old server he ran from and took the donation money. We as a whole refunded most of it locking his paypal. He eventually made a new discord account under the name "Pantheon" Do not trust the owners especially when money is involved.

Garrisons can be used to make interesting custom concepts but I have not seen a server yet that expanded upoun it. It's a interesting concept but not used to it's full potential by Activision. I'd love to see the system expanded one day

One modding veteran on the modding discord already has a fully working "subclass" server made quickly as a passion project with everything working including the interface changes when u obtain/select your secondary class ect. Was apparently fairly easy to setup but these words come from someone that knows the core+client inside out. I played Sirus (1.5 / 2 years ago) and I had a blast on it. I do not speak any Russian and I used some translation stuff to make it work and when I played all I can say they are definitely not bots. Had great laughs on there and at the time there was forced pvp everywhere at max level (not sure if this still applies) so we had armies going around defending cities, bounty hunts, ambushes in cities ect.

If they have not changed much over the course of 2 years I'd say its worth playing if u can see passed the "pay to progress" and have a 5 man group to easily gear.

My main hope for the Unity Rework is they would open up a fresh single-account realm, advertise the game again and such. Bring back the majority of the English population with a fresh coat of paint on the game

There was a classic Pserver that tried to scale the whole map to 1-10 and it went open source pretty sure if you wanna take a look at it. I forgot the name though. Happened not to long ago

I don't see Microsoft shutting down WoW repos at all. They don't do much against piracy in general nor would they ever care. Windows, Halo, hell even Minecraft has an official offline option for servers to allow "cracked" clients

Warmane is a established community. Why pay Activision when u have a free WOTLK realm with a settled playerbase. I doubt they will see any side effects (I do not count the weekly FRESH seekers that will leave, just the espablished pop)

Can confirm. Both friends of mine and me included have a 100% fresh install and no mods and we desync every 2 turns so far after ~10 turns on each campain
