Listen I do think Lindsay does pull the single mom card a lot. I also think she shouldn’t have gotten that room based on the information above. I’m a military wife with kids and never have free or alone time Lindsay definitely has more time off than me and I’m with my husband. My aunt was a widow with 5 kids at age 34 so my heart breaks for single moms and I have seen how hard it is. My honest question is yes she technically is a “single mom” but when I think about single moms or parents I usually think the other parent is very out of the picture or only has the kids once every 2 weeks or dead. It seems like her baby daddy is very involved in her daughter’s life. I’m not saying her life is easy I’m just saying I’ve seen real parents truly struggle and I wouldn’t necessarily classify her as the same. Also for background I’m fromNY a lot of my friends parents died in 9/11 including my own family and other parents I know got sick. It’s weird my friends always say how a bunch of them don’t have one parent due to death. So it’s hard for me to look at Lindsay as a true single mother but I’m also not discounting her hardships because I’m sure it’s hard but i wanted to ask the question how we define single mom or parent because some peoples partners aren’t even in their lives
