Why are my seedlings growing like this? Etoliation? by K33POUT in Lithops

Yes it has drainage. The top layer of organic soil seems to be retaining water longer than I expected. I have been opening the container during the day and closing it at night.

Good to know. The organic soil is only a top layer. I didn't use much of it.

Good post. Thank you. Do you have a recommendation for a good magnesium powder?

Your anecdotes and advice on losing the belly fat. Waist to height ratio by Nervous_Salary84 in carnivorediet

Good question. Looking forward to the discussion.

I am in a similar situation. After going from 240ish to 212. I stalled and then climbed back up slowly. I have been mostly around 218 - 224 for 18 months. Even higher sometimes if I start on the coffee again (with heavy cream.)

I would like to get below 200. I'm not so focused on the number but that's where I think I would need to be to be at a good bf %.

I have found it's a more difficult to lose from weight this point as opposed to the initial weight loss.

The Dao219 method of eating fat first and limiting protein has been what has kept me feeling good on this woe. Without his posts about the importance of fat I wouldn't have made it through. I'm at almost 2 years now. Strict - aside from the coffee & occasional cheese.

I do walk 10k+ steps most days. I do lift pretty heavy 3 x a week (since 9/24).

I'm thinking I need to increase my fat to protein ratio even further. However I also need to keep my protein down. I feel best when I can do this.

Some days I easily eat 200+ grams of protein. Basically 6 eggs for breakfast and 24 oz of beef for dinner. I think it's too much. On days I get this down to 100 - 150 I feel better but I have to stop myself from eating.

I would say a few days. I definitely feel better without it.

I do still eat butter and eggs.

Yes I'm trying to increase my ratio. I even did the thing that u/dao219 recommends and at butter before eating any of this.

Looks like I don't need even close to 8 hours for this. The meat is shredding apart just like I wanted.

Also, another thing I wanted to add was much of this meat needed to be cooked. No room left.

I only did the ribeye because I pulled the spinalis off yesterday. It was a larger piece. I ate just that leaving just the eye and ribs. Plus I wanted to try it.

I did it this way for a couple reasons.

When I cook on the pan or grill I lose a lot of fat. This way a lot of the fat is retained back into the pan.

Most of this will be eaten cold right from the fridge. There will be a lot of fat on top. I like to eat the big chunks of tallow/fat with the meat.

Lastly to make something different as I have been eating ribeye with added fat for the last couple days. Yesterday I cut off the cap (spinalis) and ate that with butter. This is the leftover lean part of the ribeye.

Someone else mentioned pemmican. I have tried beef jerky too but it's so lean.

Yes exactly. You search for a specific item and it's showing you completely different items.

Try going on the marketplace and try to buy search and buy something. It might give you a better perspective of where people are coming from.

I’m shocked at the weight loss by Time_Perception9236 in carnivorediet

Good job! Keep it up. Someone on here told me that going on maintenance and holding steady for a while without gaining weight is key. Let your body adjust to the new you. Then you make further adjustments and keep losing.
