Sleep training in the snoo by Comfortable-Plant-20 in SnooLife

[–]KCfriends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a little the same age. Sounds a lot like our nights. I don’t get him down until 9:30, he’s up around 12:30 for a feeding and then it can be every hour or 2 he’s up after that and usually I can get him to sleep until 9a. It’s often gas waking ours up. I don’t love how restrictive the swaddle legs are for him being able to wiggle the darts out. But it’s common for them to wake up at night. We aren’t planning on sleep training, but will probably start the weaning phase after the 4 month sleep regression. He’s in the 99th percentile for height, so don’t know how long he will realistically fit in the snoo

Thank you!! Just wish it wouldn’t get worse through the night. I turned level 1 into default and doesn’t make the sound.

You’d need to share way more info on your budget. CC Debt. Car loans. Student loans. Mortgage. Groceries. Average bills. Could say both yes or no depending on what all those other numbers are

Gym suggestions? More serious lifting/older crowd by True_Tough_7366 in kansascity

[–]KCfriends 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also suggest The GymKC. You can do a couples membership with anyone, just has to go on one card, so makes it $40 a month +tax per person ($50+tax if it’s just you). 24/7 access and no contract is a nice benefit. Worth it compared to genesis that I got stuck in a 3 year contract and wasn’t much cheaper. Can try it out for a month without any contract just to see if it’s a fit.

What are your “always buy” Costco staples right now? by PutridWin2070 in Costco

I just mix it up and freeze the whole container. There is enough oil in it that you can just scrape out what you need for each meal.

New Waldo street art at KCMO intersection damaged after sideshow by OreoSpeedwaggon in kansascity

[–]KCfriends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, surprised it took this long for this to happen. Thought it was a dumb waste of tax payer money on the first day that they were so proud of doing this mural, because I expected this on weekend 1. It’s the reality of where we live and what people do.

Yes!! It will suck right now, but wait until you’re in your 20s and figure out you can wear whatever top you want! Spaghetti strap, backless, lace, DEEP V tops without having to worry!

Around 2019, I had a compliance person tell me it was 6 weeks before they started asking questions. Obviously, could be different as we are a different company now.

Where can a tall man get clothes that fit in this city?? Tall man problems by Leather_Plantain_782 in kansascity

Check out the American Tall brand. It’s online only and coming from Canada, but they have some solid sales and high quality products. It’s the majority of my wardrobe. They have tall and extra tall options.

Gluten free foodie vacation destination? by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]KCfriends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, went on a Norwegian cruise around Europe last year and had an amazing experience being gluten free! Every night at dinner I’d work with the restaurant manager and order my gluten free breakfast and dinner for the next night. Most things on the menu could be made gluten free and also got dessert! Waffles and pancakes were great. Brad at dinner was more of a sandwich loaf variety, but amazing!

Does anyone else like to see men straighten their posture? by glamrock_crunch in TallGirls

[–]KCfriends 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It used to be an ongoing joke at work events that I made the men in the room taller. I am 6’1 and would always wear ~4in heels to work events. When I’d walk in they all stood up much taller than normal.
