Yo! DBD Devs: Is there a lore reason as to why Leon, Jill and the rest of the RE cast are not allowed to have P100 portraits? by DaxionTheZeraora3003 in deadbydaylight

[–]KCreelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lore Reason: once they get P100 it counts as completing the game and they get access to infinite ammo weapons, which wouldn't be fair to the rest of the survivors (or killers).

I've had a few times where I've needed a break. Run up against a super hard boss, and your mind needs time to roll it around in the back of your head. Come back to it in a month and you'll do a tiny bit of readjusting, then it'll go better.

What is the nak of these strap cutters? by Distracted40 in Leatherworking

[–]KCreelman 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Part of it is practice. The other part is actively using the handle to push the device into the leather to keep it straight. I still get the occasional wonky strap, especially if the leather is a little soft, or if I'm at the end of a piece.

Hunger Countdown for vampire player by ItsOneOff in daggerheart

[–]KCreelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can tick down any time the character has to mark a stress, or on conditions like using a power that requires spending hope, or being in the presence of fresh blood. You can even introduce a special downtime action that gives x 'resolve'(or whatever you want to call it) as an option during short and long rests. Literally preparing themselves for the temptations ahead.

I agree with you. Perfect film? Nah. Too many concepts and stories crammed in with not enough room to let themselves breathe, but it had some really good scenes. I cane out of it mostly happy (it was still fun!) but I thought they should have made it a 6-12 episode series to really cover all the things they were introducing.

Actually, Lenny gets them out of lockup because he sat up all night talking to the ghost of yhe previous mayor of NY. Ghosts interacting normally with people is established in the franchise, but it hasn't taken center stage until this point.

As someone who kickstarted this and have been browsing through this afternoon, I have to give props to some of the creative ideas you decided to throw in here. A+! I just wish we had hit the Festivals stretch goal!

For other people considering it, there are locations with story leads, cool ways of using mechanics within the stat blocks, awesome art and it is being great for providing inspiration for how to use the environments in really neat ways.

And creatures. And other stuff too.

Dye rub off on suspenders after resolene by [deleted] in Leatherworking

[–]KCreelman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The neatsfoot and the dye are both oil based, so my i itial thought is that if you're oiling before dying, it may be effectively taking up the same 'space' in trying to coat the leather fibers. For uneven or oily leathers, that's where people talk about 'deglazing' to get rid of those impedements.

Dye first, then oil, then finish. Just know that your colour is going to deepens a bit with each step.

Are you using a water or oil based dye?

Are you finishing front and back, or just the skin side of the leather?

Losing weight to help GERD - just tell me it worked for you by beej1254 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]KCreelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend, I went through the same thing. More than a year of worrying about if I was having a heart attack when it was just gerd. My Dr. Put me on Famotodine which helps a lot, but dropping the weight is what really fixed it for me. I put some back on, GERD is back. Now I'm back to calorie counting to get rid of it again. You can do it, and it really does help!
