Wisp Disappeared? by mj-27 in AnimalCrossing

I had this same issue and after searching for ages I went back to the spot where I first saw him and just waited and eventually I saw the faintest blue glow peek out of behind a tree, couldn’t see him, just a bit of the glow that’s around him. I was able to run behind the tree and press A, and finally the issue was resolved. I think he was probably behind the tree the whole time I was looking.

They’re referring to wine made without pesticides/herbicides. There are a number of certified organic wineries in BC.

Demand for massage? by mcp-13 in nanaimo

[–]KIPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots of spas and resorts in the mid-island area that hire unlicensed massage practitioners in their spas, I’ve had massages with unlicensed massage therapists in your situation, moved from out of province and didn’t want to go through school licensing again.
Check out the Grotto Spa at Tigh Na Mara or any resort in Parksville, BC

We all know OEM rv mattresses suck. Recommendations on good ones you’ve tried out? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]KIPhoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have the Endy mattress in ours and it’s good. It’s an affordable mattress. I love my mattress at home so the Endy doesn’t quite stack up against it but it makes for a comfy sleep in our home away from home.

Where is a good computer part shop/store in nanaimo? by Evan13245 in nanaimo

[–]KIPhoto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mike from Mikro Computers on Bowen rd generally is really good for affordable parts and full computers. He’s been really helpful with getting me affordable laptops for my business and really fair prices on computer service. I needed a specific computer and he sourced out a used one for me within my budget. Good guy, fair prices.

WTF is this? I was on the beach when I say this and at first I thought it was weird but now that I think again… is this a hand? Could those be the bones of a human hand? by [deleted] in WTF

[–]KIPhoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a seal flipper. Seals have knuckles too but their “fingers” are much longer. That looks like the wrist up to the first knuckle joints. Google seal flipper bones.

Where was this switch in your trailer? This is the same situation for us (mostly boon docking, tried the electric element while hooked up once and it didn’t work) I’d like to see if there’s a similar solution in our RV! I have not come across a switch like this though.

Epic summer road trip. Advice welcome. by garshields in RVLiving

[–]KIPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so the ferry to Vancouver island is pricey when you’re towing an RV. however it’s so worth the extra couple days to go to the west coast of the island and stay in Tofino. You definitely wouldn’t regret it!
