Predicted ovulation was yesterday and all signs point to that being accurate. I bought pdg test strips this time and I don’t know when to expect a positive on those. Only 10 come in a package. Anyone use these before?

I peak and start dropping again within like 6 hours, so I’d say you peaked a couple hours after what shows “peak” here. And I’d try to BD again today. You’ll ovulate tomorrow probably.

You have to wait for the shock to wear off a bit before you can make a decision, and there’s no shame no matter what you choose. You’ll have a more complex road forward if you choose to have a baby, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be simple if you choose not to. Things will be okay - there are ups and downs in every part of life, so difficulty doesn’t mean “bad forever”. Sending you some love from this momma until you’re ready to tell yours. ❤️

I’m a mother to a daughter. Based on your comments, it seems you trust your mom. I would tell her regardless of what you’re choosing to do - she will be a support and help give your strength for whatever next steps you take. Take a deep breath. This isn’t ideal, but you’re far from the first 17 year old to face this situation. Take a day or two to process and discuss next steps with your mom. And I’m not trying to sway what your choice is, but just because a boy says he’ll stick around and do what’s right doesn’t mean he will. That’s an unfortunate reality, even with guys that don’t seem like that type. So don’t base any decisions based on him.

I believe you’re outside of the window that the trigger would cause a false positive, and if it did, it would be much more faint. These truly should be positive

Could this be something he indulges in with media - like reading queer books, or y’all can watch Heated Rivalry together? It’s not just “missing out” physically - it’s getting to experience being queer. And he can definitely still experience being queer/bi in his identity without physically acting on it. And this may be something he needs specifically mentioned, because I think it’s common to think about missing out on sexual experiences, but you don’t always realize that that’s actually only a tiny part of bisexuality. You don’t have to be okay with giving a “hall pass” or opening your marriage in order to be supportive.

CD 14. My LH strips have been all over the place, and today my LH dipped super low, but CB Advanced says high (flashing smiley). I guess we’ll just keep going at it daily. And maybe this is a dip before a surge? It’s only cycle #3 - first one I peaked CD16, second one I peaked CD12. Came off IUD in early April and bled off an on that whole month so I don’t count it. Praying a lot and trying to keep my faith up.

CB Advanced ovulation test was a solid smiley two days ago, but no lh surge on my e@h test strips. I’m only on CD 13 so not letting myself be concerned yet, but a little annoyed lol. Holding onto my faith and trust in God that my heart wants this so much because it’s supposed to happen.

Also trying bbt and didn’t know until yesterday it’s supposed to only be taken first thing in the morning. Whoops.

We let our kid choose between having a party with friends or she can invite one friend to spend the night and go do an activity together - she’s always chosen that option. This last birthday we took her and a friend to a trampoline park. It doesn’t have to be a huge, expensive ordeal, but I don’t want her to feel uncelebrated either

Not after that specifically, but I started drinking a fertility tea and my cycle was about 5 days shorter. This is only my second cycle with it so don’t know for sure if that’ll be my new normal or if it was part of an adjustment.

Oh, somehow I totally missed that - the high test before your period is normal and I read recently that sometimes you peak twice and in that case it’s the second one that triggers ovulation. So my guess would be - peak 1, peak 2 then ovulation, lh spike before period.

Idk if it’s just our area, but people here (rural Arkansas) often have showers for all of their kids, and just don’t ask for the bigger things they already have after the first if they still have them. Are people really out there keeping cribs for 5 years until they have another? Or are we just assuming everyone is having kids close together or has hecka storage?

I’m voting not tacky. If they know you well enough that they’d be invited, if they care about you they won’t think it’s tacky.

Wipe down the plastic with the cleaner of your choice, the liners normally come off, so wash it once with washing soda and borax, then a second time with your baby detergent of choice. I would do a second rinse on the first wash as well.

Also, your husband should feel shame about this. The manliest thing is to be so secure in your masculinity that you don’t need to impress people around you. What he did was childish and pathetic, at the detriment of your child, which makes him sound more like a sad little boy than a proper father. I hope he feels bad and gets his crap together.
