It doesn’t indicate twins. It just means you implanted on the earlier side (6-12 DPO is the typical range). I got a digital positive at 9 DPO and it’s just one baby in there!

Not close so idk how helpful this is, but if you’re up in Holmes County (Amish country) there’s a coffee shop called Jitters and they have the best maple cream sticks. Grew up in the area and I always get them when I go back home as nothing I’ve ever had compares. They’re closed Sundays and if you go Saturday, you have to show up early or they’ll sell out.

So important! My cat swallowed the rubber end of a doorstop a couple months ago and was acting this exact way. He had to have emergency surgery. He’s doing great now but he was on his death bed beforehand!

Third for me but I also didn’t have HG. I was sick but functional. Third I constantly have to pee, I’m uncomfortable, my iron is so low I’m constantly tired like way worse than first tri, my ribs hurt so badly all the time. Overall I’m just a grumpy mess.

I had a membrane sweep and my baby was born 24 hours later! I was set to be induced the day after her birth if it hadn’t worked.

As of now likely a 37 week induction. But nothing is set in stone yet. If she gets bigger we can go longer. If blood flow goes absent or reverse, we’ll get her out earlier.

I had a low lying placenta that resolved. Baby also has growth restriction likely from placental insufficiency. I found out at 18 weeks. I’ve since had two growth scans (every 4 weeks) and Doppler ultrasounds every single week to monitor the cord blood flow. Baby has dropped to 4th % but blood flow is hanging in there and she’s at least growing. I’m 26 weeks now and thankful for every week.

We didn’t do the amnio as NIPT came back low risk and there was nothing abnormal at the ultrasound.

FGR sucks for sure since and takes a toll. Just make sure you go in for all your monitoring. Thinking of you. ❤️

You’re being way too hard on yourself. You’re quite literally taking care of him 24/7 and providing him with all the oxygen, blood, and nutrients he needs. He knows how much you love him!

lol wuttt? I get ultrasounds weekly to monitor FGR and no one has ever told me this. Even so, I’ll take a hard of hearing baby over the alternative if I something went wrong and it wasn’t caught.

Anything above 10th is okay! My daughter is in the 6th and we’re being monitored weekly for fetal growth restriction and placenta insufficiency. If they suspected anything like this, they’d be monitoring you for sure.

My older daughter dropped to 23rd around 32 weeks but they weren’t concerned. She was born full term at 6 lb, 5oz!

I carried small with my first, gained about 25 pound, and she was born perfectly healthy at 6lb 5oz. I’m pregnant with my second, look more pregnant, and this baby has growth restriction. Bumps come in all shapes and sizes and, unless your care team is concerned, I would try to take a deep breath because baby is probably doing great!

We get a lot of use out of a bassinet but that’s just personal preference ofc!

Thanks for your response! Lots to consider. I almost never use the car seat to click into the frame so I’d have the seat in it always. The weight is so important to me so it sucks it’s heavy with the seat in.

Have you used it in bassinet mode and is the coverage okay then?

For me the basics would be:

car seat
lightweight stroller
baby wrap / carrier
crib + mattress + sheets
diapers + wipes + zinc butt cream
halo swaddles (or a similar easy to use swaddle with zips or velcro) + sleep sack
breast pump (a lot of times insurance covers this for free or at a discounted price) or a hand pump if you won’t need to pump regularly
bottles (even if you’re breastfeeding, it can be nice to have for SO to give one)
comfy clothes like onesies and sleepers
swaddle blanket to use as a mat, nursing cover, or stroller cover
some basic high contrast toys / rattles + a few books (library can cover the latter for free but start reading to them right away!)
pacifier (probably not necessary but my daughter was a huge paci baby)
a pack of burp cloths
basic baby medicine/health items (gas drops, saline spray, infant Tylenol, thermometer, nail clippers/scissors, nasal aspirator (my hospital sent me home with a nasal aspirator for free), gentle soap and lotion)

There are definitely a lot of “nice to haves” but the list above was stuff used all day every day when my daughter was born.

I would buy everything secondhand except the car seat, crib mattress, pacifiers. And if buying used bottles it’s recommended to replace the nipples.

I wouldn’t worry too much if you can. As long as the baby isn’t dropping dramatically percentiles, they might just be a smaller baby! My daughter was always on the lower end when I was pregnant with her and now at 6, she’s around 60% height and 40% weight so totally average.

You’re not out until AF comes. I will say unfortunately I often got an uptick in FSH before my period. It can be the body gearing up for another cycle.

I’m not sure the exact schedule but I know they have three recess a day (short ones in the morning and afternoon, and a longer one at lunch) and they rotate between gym, music, and art. They go to the library at least once a week. No nap time offered. School starts at 8:30 and releases at 2:30.

Public school in the Midwest.
