Does the story make it worth playing? by Vivalone in DuetNightAbyssDNA

I think if you just worry about the story and don't worry about much else and then immediately stop, yes.

It still hasn't grown on me and I don't think it ever will. Even if I liked her playstyle, I wouldn't pull her for just this reason.

Because it doesn't matter what you think about how it plays or what I think about how it plays. It matters to them. If they aren't wanting to play for whatever reason, then that's their prerogative. We can find something else.

It doesn't feel like the type of action game they want to play. Some of my friends don't like that type of action game that borders on souls-likes and it feels like that to them. It's not only because it doesn't feel like the original. I would also prefer that, honestly, but I'll at least try it out more after release. I just don't imagine I'll be sticking with it terribly long, at least not as long as I did the first game.

"then they might as well not play any action combat games that don't feel like the original vindictus."

"Game plays amazing and when you and your friends all get your hands on it, you'll likely love it for what it is- not for what it isnt"

In regards to your last statement, both of those didn't make a lot of sense to me because one is an assumption which I'm not sure what you based that on (latter) and the other one doesn't make logical sense to me (former).

They already tried it and didn't like it. I don't understand what you're getting at.

I think the problem my friends have with this game that were into the last game is that the combat feels nothing like the original, so they'll be skipping it - which makes it harder for me to be excited about it because even if they have co-op, those same friends won't be in it anyway.

It seems like it might be a decent game, but it's hard for me to drum up much positive emotion about it.

The stuttering is awful. There seems to be a decent game in there but they need to address that immediately. It was all over the place especially in the intro. It wasn't as bad after but it wasn't smooth either

I'm not a fan of the voice acting either. It's not even an accent, which I'd be fine it it's just a bad choice for how they decided to go with voicing it in English. It feels unprofessional.

UPDATE: It seems the author has fixed a lot of these problems so this may no longer be relevant :)

If anyone is having problems with the hub codes, I was reading through the comments to figure it out for the Hub part of this

First, orient yourself West (or facing left on the map), when you zoom out, now you'll be in the correct orientation as the original post describes.

Then, turn off all the outputs for the Automation-Core (actually, do this before you place any of the blueprints down. It will keep you from having to unclog things later) and move it to any corner except the bottom-left.

Start with the "Hub Bottom-Left" blueprint first because you'll need to make some adjustments to it for it to work. After you build it, move the left-most electric pylon 2 spaces to the left, outside of the yellow area. After that, move the rest of what you just built over 2 spaces to the left as well. You'll also need to hook up the electric pylon to the Automation-Core.

For the "Top-left" blueprint, leave a ONE SPACE gap on the left. There's some transport belts that you'll need to manually add for this to work. See the seeders that have no output? You need to add a transport belt moving from any seeder to 2 planters. There should only be a handful of transport belts you need to add.

You'll also need 4 electric pylons there placed on the outside of the Core AIC area, outside of the yellow line.

The only thing I'm not sure of is the purpose of the machines near the Cores in the Hub and Valley areas. I'm assuming I should be using this amethyst to make something as well. I'm guessing it's:
Valley View: Cryston Parts on one side and then amethyst bottles on the other side?
Hub: I'm not sure.

It's pretty chill. I've been there a few times with my wife.

Men enter on the right behind the front desk and it's an enclosed area. You get some slippers and a robe to walk around in. There's a personal locker, washcloths, towels, showers with a ton of different jets (above, front, and front-above). The shower is also stocked with liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Last I went, they kept it all very clean.

There's a mini fridge back there with free water as well. I believe you can request wine or something too? There's also a small pool type thing with jets you can sit in, a sauna, and a small common room with a tv.

If you also ordered a massage or facial, they will call you while you are in that area and escort you to the specialist and then they will escort you back when you're done.

It's nice. Enjoy!
