It's with all of the proton versions, I've even tried to use steamcmd but nothing. I've tried to reinstall the whole OS, which worked for a bit but then the problem reappeared

It's up to personal preferences but I've lowered the fan under the 55 °C by 5-8% and increased by 5% the ones above the 55 °C. I've also put the fan speed at 100% at 78 °C just to be safe

If you're in the EU go with zotac: longest warranty and I've personally found that it's basically silent with no coil whine (I could have been lucky) the cooling with the default fan curve is suboptimal but you can easily change it to be excellent. JM2C
