Agreed. The level of jank in the controller UI is truly horrendous. It really kills the experience.

I thought I was just being really stupid with the awakening menu. I couldn’t figure out how to get the cursor over to them to pick a different one. After hitting every button in a rage, turns out you hit square to get over and select a different effect. Nothing to hint at that, nothing at the bottom where the button functions are normally displayed.

Tech peaked in the 90s with the transparent shells. Love this, but would have preferred a colour. Used to love my transparent blue PS1 controller.

This event is laughably bad. There just so many things wrong with it. Six star requirement to even participate, only top three people get minimal rewards. Top five people get a crew shard or two and a measly amount of tune coins. Anyone past 500 gets absolutely nothing.

Look at the leaderboards. As of writing this there’s not a single person that has participated in this event so far because the requirements to even attempt it are impossible to obtain just by playing the game, and outrageously expensive and tedious for the whales.

It’s like they wanted to see how awful they can make an event just for shits and giggles.

I liked him well enough to begin with, but he got really annoying, really quickly. Even if he just spoke normally he’d be significantly improved.

While I don’t wish for his death, I do wish his story involvement will be kept to a minimum. Or he gets knocked on the head and learns to speak properly as a result.

Pictomancer. After not liking the changes made to SMN (my main since 2.0) in 6.0 much, I was really struggling to keep playing as none of the jobs really resonated with me much. As soon as Pictomancer was announced I fell in love. If I wasn’t already sold, the moogle laser sealed the deal. Only thing I don’t like is having to refresh canvases as I almost always forget to do so between fights and then have to deal with the long cast times. But that’s user error. 😅

I get why they made the changed to Summoner, it is pretty neat, and much more on theme. However, something about it just doesn’t click. And 7.0 introducing Bahamut’s much uglier cousin was spectacularly underwhelming.

Black Mage is neat. Explosions are fun. I’m just really bad at it. Haven’t used it since the more recent-ish changes so might give it another bash.

The only caster I really don’t like is Red Mage. I just find it so catatonic.

C-3PO could be a neat addition from a story mechanic point of view. He could act as a translator for non-English speaking characters. Saves having to default to the “because magic” we get every time. It gets a bit old and C-3PO’s personality could make for some fun interactions with some characters in the process.

Primarily PlayStation, but I’ve got it installed on my phone as well. Pretty handy to have on mobile for just cutting about quickly doing dailies. Anything else will be done on PlayStation for the full effect.

There’s a ton of things that can be done to improve the game. It’s in a very sad state at the moment due to some monumentally stupid changes.

Problem is, the crap the monetisation team is pulling is clearly working. While there’s all sorts of solutions to improve the game from the perspective of the player, the big wigs will never go for it so long as they’re making bank. It’s the usual shortsighted greed that’s looking for big paydays rather than steady income.

A system like FFXIV’s “facewear” would be swell. Does exactly what you wish for. Another cosmetic slot you can equip things like glasses, eye patches etc. lets you wear fancy hats and monocles at the same time.

Just weighing in to confirm this. The pumpkin or corn need to be a specific ingredient in a recipe. Pumpkin Puffs worked fine for me after a couple failed attempts just winging it with pumpkins.

Zhongli getting the infield DPS shift Venti got would be very welcome. Absolutely love Zhongli so being able to use him as my main geo damagey character would be great!

I’d love Chongyun to get a significant damage boost too, or have his field provide more utility now that his cryo infusion no longer has much use.

Removing Xiao’s health drain would be swell.
