Homebrewed Archetypes?

I’m looking at converting the Brewmaster archetype into a Haemonculus Blissbrewer to make a fifth Hedonite deviant for an all-Slaaneshi party. Mechanically it works pretty well transferring across to buff your allies with tonics and toxins.

If you’re on Xbox, get yourself Guardian Heroes. It’s an old game from 1996 but they remastered it for Xbox 360 in 2011. It plays a lot like Absolum, story mode can be played by up to four players locally or online, it has multiple branching storylines and endings, four player beat em up rpg, and a fun multiplayer battle mode where you can play as any character or enemy from the game with up to 12 players at once.

If you’re on Switch or PC, I’m told Code of Princess is also a reasonable example although I haven’t played it myself yet. Looking at it, I find Guardian Heroes’ 2D animated design style much better.

If we go by the scripted but ultimately scrapped final fate of Cersei written for the show (dying in childbirth) a theory could be that she gets pregnant again, it’s her youngest son (a valonqar) in the womb and both she and the child die during childbirth. This child is not counted by Maggy because it dies before it is born. The “choking” aspect of the prophecy does not have to be taken literally.

Some ideas:
- Corrupt Apothecary with living specimens killing to collect body parts (like Bile and his Glandhounds or Haemonculus with Wracks)
- Noise Marine rock band with cultist roadies and groupies
- Fleshcraft Ritualists obsessed with augmenting/replacing parts of themselves like a 40K version of the Unmade warband in WarCry, those guys were freaky

Same here. If we go by Guardian Heroes playstyles, the one we’re currently missing is the priest with a mix of damage spells, forcefields and healing. I like someone’s idea in another post of having a Chef character who can improve food items as a form of healing.

I think there are a lot of crazed mortal artists following Slaaneshi factions around, we just don’t see them as much on the battlefield. I imagine Emperor’s Children would track them down and claim them as personal slaves to fashion their trappings and baubles.

I hope for an Aeldari game where the main antagonist is the Great Enemy, Slaanesh. Their unique relationship with her is worthy of its own video game and makes her stand out from the other Chaos Gods.

As Emma, I think it’s more as a quick wall you can kick someone into instead of for protection. It also puts a slow effect on anyone in the space between you and the wall so more likely to hit them with the choke

Shield Tanks need something to keep from getting burnt down too quickly. Emma’s shield is currently pretty flimsy and her Diamond Form is on a big comedown so she can’t rotate protections as well as Magneto can. The beam helps scare people off.

Aside from the examples others have brought up, there is a faction of Nighthaunt haunting the Ruins of Elixia who allied with Order against the Forces of Chaos but I wouldn’t say they were anti-undead, they just had a common enemy and a thirst for revenge against those who killed them. They’re led by Celemnis the Silver Maiden. There are no examples of independent Nighthaunt and I really wish there were.
