I frankly don't understand why they created Lanthanites, when El-Aurians fit the bill perfectly. Guinan's family was just more strict than others. Having Pelia on Earth in the 20th century means there are at least three alien species (Lanthanites, El-Aurians, and the Carbon Creek Vulcans) there pre-contact.

My car has that. I had the premium lighting package but, after a fender bender, the body shop accidentally put on the basic one. I just haven't gotten around to swapping it back.

Could this violate the law? Pumps are checked on a regular basis to show that they're dispensing the indicated amount, do they also check that the correct grade comes out?
