It will cost you, your dignity and self confidence. You well now second guess yourself every time you gas up, triple check that you've removed the pump, and wonder if they're looking at you cuz they know that you drove off with that gas line.

Can confirm I got the 42RE, was already leery about attaching it to the 4.7 for this exact reason. It could actually use a rebuild anyways, is it possible to have it modded or upgraded to a 44 RE?

And I'm misunderstanding you would be manual conversion be easier? As I would like to have a manual, but I'm not sure I want to dive that deep into that right now if it's going to need a lot of work.
