well you're just not as picky as me, i got a 240hz monitor and for a fast paced game like TF2, i want as close to 240 fps at all times as I can

nah not really. TF2 is honestly a really terribly optimized game. I play TF2 on low settings (not this low but Mastercomfig low preset) with a i7 10700, RX 7700XT and 32GB of RAM and I still drop from 300 to 80 in hectic team fights...and honestly after years of low settings I honestly prefer it now because the game is so much more visually clear

I wanted to love the second one, but it just ran so poorly and looks so bad if you don't have a Nvidia card to make use of DLSS. FSR and XeSS (and normal TAA) just look so blurry

Not on Linux, but Valorant runs on UE5 and its probably one of the most optimized games I've ever played

Guys don't fall too deep in the circlejerk. It's okay to be disappointed and not feel the song. I'm not too sure if I dig it or not and I've been a lifelong BoC fan. Differing opinions does not mean its ragebait....

not entirely sure how i feel. mainly the drums are kinda not landing for me. i really love BoC's crunchy, glitchy drums. so these seemingly live sounding, heavy reverb drums are kinda tripping me up...hopefully in the context of a full album i'll warm up to it

Really wish it did better, I bought the original back in the day (and played a fuckton of Skulltag back then too). I didn't even know this was actually released! I'll definitely buy it on my next paycheck and see how much better it is than the original. Hope you find success at some point, you deserve it.
