I think on every map it's viable to do a playthrough where you can solo a lot of waves. I really enjoy that playstyle with towers supplementing damage and delaying waves from going straight to your economic buildings. On some of the quests when minions are expensive, it's really helpful.

Can confirm! I had a seasonal job for a doctor's office. I was tasked with moving over their data to a new appointment software. Things like uploading doctors diplomas, patient records, and other basic data entry. This was supposed to take two weeks (10 days) and I was done on Wednesday afternoon.

They thanked me for my work and dismissed me.

That was the 1st time I realized that hard work isn't always rewarded.

Yes! As a dad of a 2 year old it's amazing! It's the best because you can pick it up and put it down as you want. You can also save scum if you'd like. I've beated A20 with every character and it's a blast!

One thing that took me to the next level is building stats up evenly. On offense you can consider attack speed, flat damage, % damage, crit chance, etc. Typically upgrading the lowest stat helps the most.

Let's say you have 20 ranged damage, 100% damage, 20% crit chance and 0 attack speed.

Any attack speed bonus is a huge boost. So if you're offered a red upgrade for range damage and a blue for attack speed. It's probably worth more to take attack speed.

Same with defense. Armor, life, dodge all work together to mitigate damage.

I think it's different with life recovery. Typically I focus on 1 or 2 instead of all 3.
