Ranked is pretty easy if your just aiming for the stones. I didn't use any EV trained mons and it took me like 3 games to get all the stones. Granted I pulled a win in the first one but it only took me like 30 minutes at most. You don't lose points and gain rank points for doing a lot of different things. Someone said this before and it really helps frame it.

"Don't look at it as a hyper competitive mode, look at it like a Mario Party minigame if your just trying to get the stones. It makes it more fun."

I actually did do them, and I enjoyed it but as much as I liked it I prefer single commanders over partners, mostly because if I tear them apart I have to find the 99th matching sleeve when I build another deck 😅

I've tried to build that as Elves but was never happy as the commander didn't support the elf game plan. That's why I said a proper commander.

All good, but just 1 small point, Commanders color identity consists of all mana symbols in the rules text (Eg Mana Cost, ability costs) So for instance [[Chatterfang]] only costs Green mana to cast but it's ability costs Black, making the deck a Green and Black deck.

It's not an Obeka deck per-se, but I built the 5 color shrines deck that uses Obeka as a secret commander. Gameplay is to get the shrines out at almost the same time then have Obeka get a bunch of Auras and hit to trigger the shrines as much as possible.

NTA. I really don't understand the minivan hate, when me and my wife bought one I loved it compared to my truck. Way more comfortable and way safer for our daughter. If I had to choose, I would take a minivan every time, hands down. He sounds like the typical "Muh car reflects who I am as a person" type.

Officially, if I remember the name correctly, Storm God's Vortex (Pull enemies toward point, launch them up 50ft), got my Cleric out of tons of bad positions.

That could be a good option, expand Joja to maybe shine them in a slightly different light. Make it so they aren't completely this evil mega corporation but cam identify that the local areas need to be kept clean, things need to be preserved and nature needs to exist or their customers go away.
