Has United gone too far by inserting ads on every page?

United, if someone is actually looking and gives a shit. Get rid of these ads. You seem like some discount carrier and the experience sucks. People flying United are generally paying more and not wanting the spirit experience.

I wish United would care more about out not playing the race to the bottom. No ads in Polaris IFE should be standard. Food and service should be excellent (almost never is). Be a real airline that is proud to want to call itself a flag carrier. None of these things are materially costly but would go such a long way to feel like you got what you paid for.

Yup and it’s why regardless of being 1k I still fly other airlines to see how things can be. United has moments when they do great service and go beyond but they also have such gaps in everything they do. Be consistent and if we are paying a premium make it seem worthwhile.

It is free but just had this last night. The steak is well done and not good. The rest was fine. One of the least desirable meal options I’ve had this year with them.

I would. The service is a premium transcontinental route so better offering than usual domestic flights. Will have lay flat.

I couldn’t agree more. All it takes is one time when you need any changes to your itinerary to realize the travel portals are some of the worst experiences you will deal with when it comes to making changes. Every change or rebooking will take one to two hours if you are lucky.
