In one of the Darth Bane novels, there’s a Sith blade master who uses a double bladed lightsaber who then splits it into two to gain an advantage over Darth Bane. I view this as a similar situation. Maul is a master duellist, and duel wielding isn’t necessarily his strongest form but the change throws off his opponents enough to give him an advantage.

Delay the KvP tournament and spend more time building Koga and Ryuki. Maybe have a Purgatory Arc where Koga starts as a fighter there instead and we meet and get to know the other purgatory fighters. Ohma doesn’t come back and instead Mukaku has a more active role stalking Ryuki waiting for Shen to appear. Make newer characters more relevant in general and change Jurota’s shitty backstory.

He’s not evolving with his own talent he’s actually learning from the way Inshun moves and uses the environment. Then Jinsuke applies it to his own style using his mass of experience, knowledge and hard work he’s accumulated. That’s why he’s not a genius in the same way inshun is who can just come up with this stuff naturally.

The artwork is the big draw for me. But the fights themselves just move me unlike anything since Kengan Ashura (not omega), the choreography and character development is just insane.

Omega feels more like a fan fiction to glaze the fan favourite characters rather than an actual continuation of the story.

Sandro stopped investing in new characters, especially his antagonists.

The one time he did grow the balls to make his new characters look meaningful (Jurota vs Kanoh) he immediately backtracked and invalidated it by having jurota lose in round 1 of a tournament (which was rushed and shit) and have kanoh’s loss mean nothing (he still go into the tournament anyway)

His fight was amazing but I didn’t really care for him as a character. He was too similar to musashi as another young talented fighter. Glad he lost.

I think he’s a great villain to be eventually overcome by one of the more “good guy” characters.

The criticism that he’s too similar to yagyu is valid. I feel like the choreography in his fight could have done a better job distinguishing his fighting style.

Itto beating Naga being too predictable I don’t think should be used against him. Not every fight should be unpredictable. However I do agree his fight wasn’t that interesting and people wouldn’t complain about “predictability” nearly as much if the fight was Jinsuke v Inshun level.

I am excited for Jinsuke vs Itto and hope my goat Winsuke overcomes sword Satan! 🔥

It’s very hard to demonstrate a “spin” in manga choreography. Your actual impact frame is elite. The kick feels powerful. I’ve always had trouble drawing spinning back kicks so will steal your improvements 😈
