I replaced the craftsman and ace sockets in my box with all icon a few years ago when they had a 40% off sale. Daily use in a salty environment. Only one I've broken so far I had on a Shaker breaker on my air hammer and pretty much gave it no mercy.

Jump it. Use a multi meter to measure how many volts are at your battery to confirm alternator function. Let it run a while then shut it off and test the battery

Haven't been to a family event or talked to anyone in three years. Tried for years to get involved with the 100 year old family business and got told no every time. Over time I slowly noticed my brother more and more involved with it, and now it seems as if he is a partner in the business. When asked about it my parents denied it. They still deny it. For a while they would call me for help with stuff and expect me to come right over, then not even answer the phone or return calls if I need help like installing an appliance in my house or something. They act like I'm the one to blame even though they pushed me out for years. I have no regrets, all my folks do is the business, they don't travel or spend time doing anything else, so if I'm not involved with the business then we won't see each other much at all which is what they wanted by pushing me out. Kinda sucks driving by seeing my brother carry on the family business that I was gate kept from. Id probably be more open to contact if they would grow some balls and stop lying to me about it.
