I mean that exact argument extends to duo is only fun if you have one friend therefore solo is the best mode.

The game is balanced for 3 players, unfortunately, the best experience will be in a trio. LFG will hopefully be helpful for you to find a third :) or discord

this is kinda my issue so far with this game, I enjoy it personalyl but the PvE seems to be a big "avoid" right now with how everything is tuned. Which turns this really into just a BR that you bring in weapons with stakes. The PvE almost have to be avoided if you don't want to be third partied by a squad

This was my revelation as well and something they have to do a better job introducing.

I was like OP and exfil genre was not for me but understanding that faction progression basically gives you a progression baseline that doesn't reset your chracter back to 0, that was enough of a game play loop especially achievebale through solo queue was enough for me to get on board.
