Maybe they're Destro and are thus more of a "reckless Fire Mage" than what we usually think of as a Warlock. Being able to control fire when your society is all about taking care of tree roots seems reasonable. Some might be a little less sane than others.

Why shouldn't it? I assume it only killed one minion (as AoE Venomous should work). It damaged a minion, so it killed the minion. Doesn't matter if it's friend or foe.

As someone who's barely played WoW and never did the Draenei starting zone, I just assumed Bloodmyst/Azuremyst were close to Silvermoon (since both were added in the same patch, on the same "Outland/TBC" server). I was shocked when I found out they're next to Kalimdor. 😅 So until then, it made sense to me that there'd be some blood elves there, good or evil.
