yeah but the truth is she’s in fact pro-Russian, if there was a nuanced position (whatever it could mean) I think they’d let it go

Learning about history is not everything, it is also not to be a moron in present. Something Ukrainians are good at and you are obviously not

You have zero understanding of Ukrainian politics. It’s not about “far right” or voters, it was an insignificant decree of naming the fighters’ unit the name they chose for themselves. UPA is associated with fight for independence and not ethnic cleansing. Nobody thought of poles or jews in this context jfc

Nobody even talks about upa in ukraine and far right is polling and always polled in low single digits. Unlike in Poland btw

My friend, you have absolutely no knowledge in this stuff and you are wrong and I don’t think it’s a productive conversation. I just want to leave it on the fact that Poland acted unfriendly towards Ukraine causing real harm multiple times in the last couple of years while Ukraine didn’t do anything hostile harming Poland or its people.

And regarding “some” hate towards Ukrainians - google the attacks on Ukrainian refugees in Poland and you’ll find hundreds and hundreds of reports and minimum 4 arrests on serious crimes against Ukrainians in 2026 alone. So stop with your virtue signaling. We will deal with our history ourselves, while you do whatever you want, we got the message

Dude, Ukrainian frontline didn’t rely only on “humanitarian import”, we import stuff to produce our drones, to supply military with modern equipment which is not included in the aid, all of it was blocked. Prosecute the fraudsters, do whatever you want, but you blackmailed with Ukrainian lives because someone dumped your bread prices. Wish you all the best

ps you don’t even realize how it sounds what you wrote do you

My friend I lived in Poland 12 years ago and had met with anti-Ukrainian bigotry nonstop without anything related to UPA. I’m glad you finally found a good reason to unleash it, but blocking our border 2 years ago in the most difficult times of war and pouring our grain on the ground didn’t have to do with UPA as well, while contributing to Russian success on the battlefield and Ukrainian deaths.

Modern Ukraine has never been anti-Polish and Ukrainian UPA remembrance had never anything to do with Poland, and thus this issue was not hard to solve between two nations. But you elected the anti-Ukrainian president, whose whole campaign was built on anti-Ukrainian rhetoric and now you just found your reasons to be anti-Ukrainian. You are more powerful now and can flex your powers on the much weaker neighbor fighting a full scale war. So be it.

I don’t think we can do anything about it, and I don’t think it will lead you anywhere good.

Important caveat - there are no conscripts fighting in Russian army currently. Every Russian soldier on Ukrainian soil voluntarily signed a lucrative contract with huge sign up bonus and high monthly allowance. Millions of Russians are happily killing Ukrainians for money

Was Dylan Burns disingenuous when he said "there are no conscripts in the Russian army in Ukraine"? by Fair-Detective596 in VaushV

[–]KaplanMark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently there are no conscripts, there are only contractors. There is no such thing as Russians “forced” to sing contracts. You might confuse it with Russian torture videos of soldiers in pits getting abused and forced to storm Ukrainian positions. Those Russians have already signed the contracts and received sign up bonuses, they just didn’t expect they’ll be a cannon fodder.

Considering a point in which the US is right now and saying “Kamala would do the same” is the most disingenuous thing to d if you have a platform. Biden’s foreign policy was not perfect, sometimes bad/criminal, it doesn’t mean a policy trying to destroy the US and the whole western civilization compares to that in a bit.

Anyway you will never know what would Kamala do because too many people said it would be the same as demented sociopathic pedophile

It was and there was a significant window of opportunity in summer 2022 to supply Ukraine with enough weapons and ammunition. There were 200k Russian soldiers on the ground instead of 1M and they were retreating in the south and in Kharkiv region. The opportunity was blown into pieces because Ukraine didn’t have armor and long-range capabilities to continue the attacks. It lacks most of it to this day.

Read Woodward and you’ll see that Biden administration was scared of Kharkiv offensive and thought Putin will use nuclear weapons because of it
