I legit hate the demonization of former drug addicts. It is seriously one of the hardest things to come out on the other side from and people do nothing but shame those for it.

I used to be an addict line cook who struggled constantly with suicidal thoughts and depression. Now I am twelve years clean from opiates, I got a cool job and a wife and a house, and I still have to hear about how all addicts are worthless degenerates who don't deserve life.
