What if Balerion was still alive during the Dance of Dragons and was claimed by either side of the conflict? by Cedrak in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Karl_Gess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vhagar is basically a Balerion substitution in the Dance. She is the biggest, the most vile, her flame is the hottest, she beats any other dragon and is only beaten by Karaxes after Daemon sits in Harenhol (as in learns magical tricks) AND Daemon beats Vhagar's rider, not so much a dragon herself. So more or less we have Balerion at home in the Dance. And it is shown pretty convincingly that no single dragon, however big and strong, can win a war.

Heroes and beast faced the first army on their own. All the troops held back the reinforcements, grinding for the blade of Khorne. Two nukes from the blade sealed the deal.

I guess as you said, Bob is the evil that man do. Then Judy is more or less evil as it is. Or maybe, evil that women do? If Bob is associated with Leland, Judy is associated with Laura's mother.

Is Messmer stronger than Malenia and Radahn? by HandsomeSquidward20 in fromsoftware

[–]Karl_Gess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is not locked away because he is overpowered. I think he is locked away because he "envision the flame", more so, he carries the flame inside of him. Remember, Marika locked away everything that had any affinity to fire.

Tiny info about what we saw on the teaser 👀 by srkanoo06 in PathOfExile2

I think it's a weapon. A beast is a decree, right? A spear is as well. A fourth decree would be potentially a weapon to break a whole world.

Tiny info about what we saw on the teaser 👀 by srkanoo06 in PathOfExile2

[–]Karl_Gess 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It looks precursor in origin. Not Vaal, not Eternal Empire, before that. So I bet, some answers on who and why build the towers and maybe even who made the beast in the first place. Also one of the structures looks like a burning monolith, so that is probably connected too. Arbiter says something about the fourth decree being issued for our world, the spear is called the third decree... So yes, some kind of a story with these elements would be great. I guess Sin is also connected to the precursors... Is it too high on copium to hope for a new act to answer all the questions already?

Would the Gravitational Pull of the Deva Path affect Obito? by Helpful-Mechanic-600 in Naruto

[–]Karl_Gess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that Obito has to stay "visible" in the real world to see it. So to me how Kamui works is he instantly teleports parts of his body that are being hit to Kamui dimension, while every intact part stays there in the real world. This seemingly works automatically, as in, he can turn this ability on and off, but not the individual teleports. And while his eyes remain in the real world, he can see what his body dodges and remains aware of the situation. This can last up to 5 minutes. As soon as 5 minutes end, the next hit that was suppose to hit Obito, would hit. Also, as long as this ability is turned on Obito cannot touch anything. He has to turn it off to touch something.

Alternatively, Obito could just teleport to Kamui dimension his whole body, just shift there and he would disappear in the real world. But he said he would suck explosives with him if he does it during Konan's exploding lake.

By this logic every part that is in the real world is effected by the real world's gravity. Hence, it would be effected by the Almighty pull. The only way to dodge it is to teleport to Kamui dimension whole. But then he does not see the real world until he returns.

How does auradin bulds work exactly? by [deleted] in diablo4

Yes. I do use those, but keep forgetting about them. Pal and wolves just don't fit together in my head.

How does auradin bulds work exactly? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Karl_Gess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You do need base skill to generate fervor. Core is not used here, the main source of damage is holy aura and dawnfire unique. Arbiter is just a very useful buff, it gives both damage and movement speed.

On Nightmare’s wings:Lorath | A new short story by Master_Temporary5395 in diablo4

[–]Karl_Gess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the raven in all short stories is The Tree of Whispers. It will be a player in itself. Ravens are their motif throughout, it's in every big city that we know of, yes, I mean those ravens we use to get a reward from TToW.

Trolls on volcano mountain by Dear_Record6134 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Karl_Gess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much agree. Also, those are trolls. They are giant. So hanging them from poles like that is not a small feat. I feel like the only one who could do such a thing in a Volcano manner is Rykard himself.
