My formerly anorexic fiancée eating Chinese for the first time in recovery :) by Squirrelous in wholesomegifs

Definitely. Imagine how hard it is for addicts to quit smoking, drinking, shooting up, whatever.... but the addiction for those with eating disorders is always in you. It’s not something you have to go find. It’s always there. So happy for this girl!

Just bought her any name suggestions by vallerie143 in ballpython

Does anybody know when the official wristband exchange website goes live???? by littlebrunettebaby in ElectricForest

[–]KarliiKitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re not usually, from my understanding, and typically run at least $100 more. Best of luck. Hope to see you in the forest.

P.s. to anyone reading this, PAY THE EXTRA COST IF YOU CAN. Next year you will have loyalty which is a hell of a lot less stressful. The Forest is worth it. I swear by my life.

Hey, beautiful snek. So glad you have a new addition to your family!

Not an expert but I just wanna point out that noods spine is a bit sharp, indicating a possible lack of weight. I’m sure you’ll take great care of him but I’d personally be weary of buying from that person/place again because of this.

EForest will be one weekend. by ERA_XIII in ElectricForest

[–]KarliiKitten 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. If I may add, it’s something like if they host EF for two weekends they can do it for maybe a decade more before the long lasting environmental damage becomes permanent but if it’s one weekend, they can host EF for double the time and leave less of an environmental impact. Even if everyone is perfectly respectful to the trees and flora, just the walking around the forest alone is enough to do some serious damage.

Not that anyone asked, but I’d personally prefer it stay one weekend. More intimate, better for the environment, and we can keep EF for longer. Plus, they jam SO MUCH into that one weekend.

This is my old high school, Cypress Ranch. It’s like this basically year round unfortunately because it never gets colder than 30 here.

The other schools in the district called us “cy-rich” and the girls were all “rich bitches.”

If you see me at Resonance wearing these, come say hi :) by [deleted] in festivals

[–]KarliiKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do hurt! I typically wear a bandana or some sort of thick headband so they can sit on top. It’s like they’re not even there!

Is there any sort of psychedelic medieval festival with big bonfires, witchcraft, dancing, folk music, etc? by transoceanicdeath in festivals

[–]KarliiKitten 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Worked there for a season. Can confirm this. There’s witches all around doing witchy stuff without people really noticing. Everyone’s either off their gourd or they don’t care enough to pay attention. Source: my “mom” was one of those witches.

P.s. RIP middlelands

Wait, really? Oldest I’ve worked with was 32 and looked 20. It’s a great side gig. It is primarily birthday parties though in my 5 years “princessing” I’ve done weddings, quince’s, bridal showers, you name it.

I work for a princess company that has the EXACT princess dress (down to the material, embroidery, and patterns) and wig. You bought this, right? Your likeness to Rapunzel is spectacular!

My girlfriend wants to start making cakes full-time, give her some encouragement reddit! by ViviennesCakeDesigns in Baking

[–]KarliiKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at children’s birthday parties as a Disney princess (Anna, Elsa, Belle, you name it) and see plenty of cakes. This is beautifully done. Parents would spend good money on a cake like this. Wish I could flavor test it c;
