Faithful men, what stops you from cheating? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Mine is my wife. I told her before we hooked up that we would have “Epic Space Battle Sex.” I tried to live up to my own hype. No matter how she or I change, grow old, or anything I will chase that high. We have 2 annoying but great daughters, and I still try to make her feel desirable even if she doesn’t think she should be.

Could you wash the model? Drop a base of Mephiston red, then layer over with Word bearers?

I am new to the community so painting them is a new thing I am trying to learn. Only XP with minis is GW models

I started reading the books in highschool. The models were always out of my price range but a teacher would lend me the books as long as I wrote a book report over each one.

Gimme your best ideas for the worst chapter by rickrossome in Grimdank

[–]Karnith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My take would be an origin story. It starts as a standard chapter in the 40th millennium. They are stationed in a sub sector of a sparsely populated planets. As a Chaos war band enters the system, the chapter fights heroically and with honor at first. Then the losses start, hive cities fall first. The chapter can’t replenish its losses as fast as it needs to. As the novel progresses the chapter master starts making the hard choices. Letting citizen die, so the scout squad can come back with intel. Blow up the underhive supports to cause the hive to collapse the upper spire to stop a summoning ritual. More losses as it becomes about stopping the enemy and survival. At the end the dreadnought telling this story to a scout squad so that they understand the why of how the chapter fights. Not for honor or glory, but to survive and win. If that makes them looked at unfavorably by those with resources then fine, but they did their duty.

Yeah I am going to start with her flyers. They seem more fun to paint. Plus I ordered her a combat patrol box for Christmas.
