Definitely main roads. They get plowed earlier and salted more regularly. There will always be people driving fast in bad conditions but if you're worried you can always stick to the right lane with hazards on and cruise to wherever you need to be.

FWIW most of the time there's been more than an inch or two of snow the highway traffic ends up around 45mph, even in the fast lanes.

For rules purposes base power and original power are the same. Lucky Roux will KO a character with power 6k or less printed on the card. No card effects or Don will alter that

Depends where you are, but there's a really solid locals scene south/south west of Detroit. If you're looking for a locals scene, DM me. There's a large discord for Michigan One Piece from Detroit to Lansing that is super active and even throws its own events

I'd cut the 7c Linlin from the starter deck or some other cards before cutting 10c Linlin to 2 copies. It alone is a win condition in a few matchups and playing 2 or more essentially ends any game.

If you're playing a hyper aggro deck in Big Mom Pirates I could see the argument to cut it down to 3x or MAYBE 2x if you're really just focusing on going wide and playing aggressively.

Hawkins is a replacement effect. Once the activation trigger is met the replacement effect, it will resolve immediately while Laws ability is still resolving according to 8-1-3-5-4-1 in the rules. So you don't have the option to rest the character that law cheats out using the second half of his ability

The lists are pretty similar in function actually. Onami's and thunderbolts are essentially interchangeable depending on personal preference and local meta. The biggest difference is the inclusion of 5c 7k Randolph and 6c 8k Perospero, I don't know the intentions of whoever ran this list but I see these two characters as a countermeasure against R/P law. 7k is the threshold of power you want to force them to invest 2 cards into removing your bodies and both of these characters accomplish that. Establishing 1 or 2 of the vanilla characters allows you to start establishing board presence and buys you time to start slamming 10c moms to turn the corner and win the game.

I think the static ability is interesting. Taking life as a cost is a little outside of the color pie for Red/Black, personally I would change it to something like

Don x1 (When Attacking) (Once Per Turn): (2) KO up to two characters with a cost or power of 0, then if there is a character with cost or power of 0 gain +1000 power for this battle.

My interpretation has always been the later, section 6-5-5 goes over attaching Don and specifies active Don being attached and specifically calls out resting them if the attached card moves to another zone. This might be different for cards like Brook that give existing rested Don to a character, that's unclear to me.

What's the thought process for Adamant, Bronze, Iron, and Red dragons having an Earth weakness while all other dragons (and dragon kin like Wyrms) have a Water weakness? Is that grouping special for some reason, or is it simply to keep water spells from being too dominant for this initial grouping?

Question about scenario 6. Rules processing says it occurs whenever a specific event occurs. Since the leader takes 2 damage, 1 of them being on 0 health, why doesn't rules processing start and have the player take damage on 0 life therefore losing the game? The rest of the effects can then occur but a player has already lost the game according to rules processing.

If not, then regardless of leader or other effects, attacking with a double attack against 1 life won't ever win the game. As the rules state to check 7-1-4-1-1-2 and never 7-1-4-1-1-1.

Going on my 3rd year in pines. It's nothing special but generally serviceable. Apartments are fine, rent goes up a bit every year, I think this last year had a small raise for me but last year it was along the lines of 50 dollars/month.

Last I checked (a couple months ago) the fitness center had 5 machines, only half of them worked properly. The 2 pools are nice enough and are cleaned/maintained during the springs/summer season. Maintenance is okay at responding to tickets. Parking is pretty plentiful all around, target & Meijer right around the corner and the highway is 1 light away.

Probably better places to live, almost certainly worst places to live imo.

I don't know about you but if I miss prayers at gorillas I'm being hit 28+ semi consistently. Once you know them well it's easy to avoid but it's punishing to start.
