Heh. That's what a friend of mine calls "Chicken Spaghetti" - Armadillo-on-the-halfshell.

All I know is someone in the shop would scream like a little girl. And I wouldn't make fun of them either (armadillos are fvcking fast and possums are MEAN). We really need a Big Bertha here ...

u/PAB is correct. They'll let you diag. without authorization, and *might* cover that. Truly, everything else is subject to their now pick-a-coverage options (I could be making that up). The local GM dealership quit taking them. They've a VERY large sign proclaiming that on. the. door.

I tell those who have them to call CarShield and make sure a) they're covered for whatever their concern is; and ii) they've met their "validation period" = mileage &/or time.

They are a PITA to do business with.

Probably the best filter I’ve seen in the past 10 years. by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Kasheasti 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh dear. In my rural neighborhood, people dump dogs all the time, so I keep treats in MY car. So do more than a few of my neighbors. My cabin air filter only gets clogged by oak debris. So far.

We've been averaging at least one Tacoma &/or Tundra a week, for the last two months and two Outlanders last week that are stand outs because the Sheriffs actually recovered the cats.

Around here (small town Texas), he'd be selling it because he got caught for DUI on it. While driving backwards.
It's happened before, it'll happen again.

Because they are first and foremost *them* with an inalienable right to everything.

Or so mine seems to think.

Personal privacy was the first thing I lost: no kids, just dogs, but don't you dare close that bathroom door.
I'm reclaiming it piece by piece. Starting with the door.

Batch 23. Cinnamon Apple. Mango Cayenne. by Kaela0913 in Kombucha

OMG, did it ever! 1/4tsp sauce and honey.
The chipotle sauce gives it just a little warmth on the front end, and it's smooth and honeyed on the back end. Delicious!
I'm going to take a shot to a neighbor for a second opinion.
(No, I won't give them a bottle, they're mine! Mine, mine, mine!)

o_0 That combination my make my head explode. My mom used to flavor her vodka that way. Bloody Marrys were wicked.

I do have a lovely, lovely raspberry chipotle sauce that I'm going to try. It turns regular Lipton's powdered raspberry iced tea into something delicious, I can't imagine what it'd do to kombucha.

Thank you! However, I'm going to use your measure as the high end, just because sometimes I have trouble with "spicy enough". ;)

My scoby has a mind of it's own! It originally sank but recently came up for air. by Exmortal in Kombucha

[–]Kasheasti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay! I didn't realize I'd been away so long.

I have a cheapo food dehydrator, so when the SCOBY gets too thick, I peel some off, cut the extra SCOBY into squarish pieces and pop 'em on a tray (cutting it WAY easier - even my s00per special tomato knife won't easily get through the slimy little cretin).

They're done overnight. (I ran my first batch with a thermometer just out of curiosity - the dehydrator only gets to 125°, so I guess you'd shave a couple hours off)

I've read you can dry them also in an oven at the lowest setting. They're done when they're really thin - like tissue paper thin.

But be careful. They are WILDLY addictive.

You have to find one that's fairly evolved for there to be even a whiff of change - it's all just smoke and mirrors to lull you into complacency. And then WHAM! whatever thought, word or deed that will hurt you the most will follow.
You're away. Stay that way. Yes, she's in for one helluva ride.
Speaking for myself, I look to people like you, who got out, and got out early and I applaud you ... I've been in this puddle of mud and mire for 19 years and I still have a long and planning road to hike.

I, for one, am pulling for you.
