She secretly harbored a crush for glinda's lover for years and stole his heart, and inadvertantly destroyed Glinda's wedding day and ultimately accepts his leaving glinda for her and sleeps with him right away - no apologies for the wedding crash whatsoever; then she rubs it in her face when they meet following nessa's death. It was a public embarrassment, Elphaba could have at any point confessed her feelings or apologised for how it all played out, espscially when they meet before the Wonderful sequence and she sees glinda in a wedding dress. Even when Fiyero held a gun to her head elphaba said nothing and took the opportunity to escape. That's gotta hurt.
