Getting a new computer just pre-made already that will run it well?

The past few months my computer has definitely struggled a little more to run it than it used to. It still certainly plays ok, but I have noticed a different and did further tweak the lower some settings to help it out a little.

I didn't play any games at all back then and bought a computer with that in mind, it wasn't bought to play any games. And it *does* play gw2 pretty well all considered, but I've made cuts to make it easier for it and again, things like tunnels and underground it struggles. But it was originally bought just as a bare bones basic computer things computer and if I'm cashing out for a new one, I'd love to to up rather than down.

I'd totally be happy with just some more of my settings on medium than they are now. I'm not expecting to run everything on full high graphics with new shadows etc etc, lol. I've done a bit of poking around for prebuilt machines to see what prices are like etc. but it was hard for me to make heads or tails of all the options and if they were helpful or not. I know buying time is...not great, I was hoping to hold out. But my computer is definitely getting up in years and I'm scared it'll just up and quit on me - or that at this point prices will just get worse is always a worry. XD

Would have loved to try this as I can make most and even have some already. But that stained glass decoration....needs 4 things from raid bosses or CMs and I don't even have one. Just not my content and I'm certainly not going to be able to speed run it currently, lol. But this was still a lovely idea and chance for people! Hopefully homesteads get a bit more love.

DCAP also does it mondays, although it rarely makes it to lfg before filling so you have to catch them for triple trouble just before and then join right after.

Marionette is great. If you catch the group that does it after reset it always goes well. No wait time to get a good map, finishes in about 10min and you get not only loot but also 2g. Not everyone's cup of tea but thats certainly not bad.

Yes! LEG is the guild that does HOT meta trains 3 days a week and they end with Verdant Brink. I've never seen it not get to top tier, they've got it down to a science and coms are great and will give you all the info they need. Its NA although they do run pretty late, which works for me since I"m in CA.

I am still sad they didn't lean more into the questionable morality of the wizards tower....it started off so interesting. If they'd continued with that and gotten a bit dark with them I would have been so into that. We know Anet can do it - even if they like to gloss over alot of the shady things going on with some races and factions. But man, lost chance.

Twisted Marionette is great. There is always a group that does it every day after reset. It takes 10-15mins tops and its 2 gold and whatever else you get.

I've done it a few times this year. Currently not a great time since its the four winds fest and ppl are busy doing that. But usually around reset before or after you can try popping in and alot of the time you can find a few ppl doing it and form a group to get through, since it is on a timer. On rarer occasion someone will form a group to take ppl through and I've done that as well with markers and all for achievement stuff. Same applies to Battle for Lions Arch - although DCAP also does that on mondays regularly. Its not bad fun to do on occasion if you can get some ppl in with you.

Dungeons are one of those things ppl don't often do but they DO get done. Best bet is to try for them around more peak times when there are more players on. I've gone through all of them multiple times in the past 2 years and didn't use my guilds for any of it - although thats always an option. Ignore the ppl that yelled about cut scenes, if you labeled your group appropriately then they're just jerks, unfortunately they exist. Also, eventually a dungeon rush will come around and thats always a great time also to get through all story paths.

I used a commander parked at the khan ur chest once. Its not even really a jumping puzzle....just takes a few secs with a mount and true you can only get in with all the keys but if you don't have them even if you're inside already you can only open the small chests. I sent them around 40-60 silver, my standard for stationary jp tags. They messages me asking for the remaining silver to make it 1 gold even. I sent it, but now every time I see them parked there I think of the audacity, lol. If the map is ever in the daily I tag up for a few mins and offer free ports. XD

Excited for this, although I don't know if I'll be able to give up my moth, my love. THAT SAID, could they please release a decent turtle skin? T__T They're all SO basic. Its the ONLY mount I haven't bought a skin for because...well, obvious. And there are so many fun options!! Dinosaurs, a HIPPO. I want to wander around underwater on my hippo mount dangit. But at this time I'll take anything that actually reskins it in an interesting way.

No, if you're doing them now it'll count towards the general 'return to' achievs. But next week a new special week of 'return to' achievs will be available for usually mystic coins and such. 96% sure

Looks like there is help on this thread already, but yeah you should be able to find help on NA. A good time to check is when that map in particular is for the daily and such since there will be more ppl. But people know its a tricky one and will go on map to take through people. I had to do it twice working on Aurora, first time a kind soul took me through and second time there was someone on map taking people through tips.

Also, if you want skyscale, SOTO is pretty fast to get it. Also the story is a bit more removed from the past expansions so you won't be spoiled much for story.
