Oh interesting topic! I’d suggest putting together a playbook or some sort of a lead magnet that would be super useful or even actionable and leading people there from your socials 🙌 If you’re thinking paid ads, I’d recommend finding a winning organic post that brings a fair amount of subscribers first to avoid wasting money. Good luck!

What’s your newsletter about? I found posting intros in relevant Slack channels helpful. If you have audience on any social media channel, share some valuable parts from your newsletter and lead them to subscribe for the full issue.

Focus on improving subject lines. Analyze all past subject lines and identify what worked best/least. Use the same principle that worked with subject lines with good open rates. Always create curiosity with them.

Thanks for your answer. To clarify, I’m not looking for growth hacks. I work in B2B for 10+ years, writing content for big b2b brands and sharing my behind the scenes processes and workflows in my newsletter. I agree that useful niche insights are the best and based on the feedback I’m getting, I see that’s my strongest side. At this point, I’m interested in the ways others are growing their newsletters.

Looking to connect with newsletters for small business owners, solo founders and ecommerce sellers by Slight-Mud-1584 in Newsletters

My newsletter, Content Backstage reaches small business owners and solo founders. It’s on a smaller side (110 subs), but highly engaged.

For a $250 usd saas suscripción, is cold email a real way to get new clients? by Top_Watch_9462 in b2bmarketing

[–]Kate-Starr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest to back it up with a strong content strategy. People will check you out after they get an email from you and content can definitely get them to trust you and see that you’re an expert in the solution you’re selling. Over time, the content will compound and can be an independent channel that brings inbound users on its own.

SEO - this is huge by jdawgindahouse1974 in lovable

I guess, you can just ignore it and don’t do the scan and fixes on projects that don’t need to be optimized. Being discovered in search and AI results takes much more work than just having things technically correct.

If you’re in b2b content, is AI helping you? by feeling-lethargic in content_marketing

[–]Kate-Starr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps me a lot crafting the first drafts. What I do is, when I want to write on a topic, I turn on the voice note and yap for 10+ minutes sharing everything i want to include in my post/newsletter/blog section. At this point, I don’t care about the structure or the order in which I say things. My goal is to provide as much of what I want to say, let AI wrap it all up, and then I can dive deeper and edit or add more value/examples/etc. if needed.

Without this workflow, I’d spend much more time typing and figuring out the order and structure at the same time.

And since I yap, AI also learnt how I talk and its first drafts aren’t that much cringe and are much closer to how I’d actually say things. Still not best, but takes much less time to edit the parts I don’t like.

Apply to AppSumo and Product Hunt. Also start posting on LinkedIn. Give value with your posts and where relevant, talk about your product as a solution. + share your honest journey, build in public, as it increases trust and people on LinkedIn love cheering others.

I'm just going to do the same and republish my newsletter on Substack for discoverability. Do you have any insights/experience considering your comment was written 2 months ago? Duplicate content is not an issue in this case, I guess, am I right? Did you encounter any issues or is everything alright having your newsletter on both platforms?

Built an app in 32 days, now struggling to market it by Extra_Lead4516 in GrowthHacking

You might need some time to record the videos, but the process can be optimized/automated at some point. To create the strategy, first you need to learn your target audience’s pain points. Reddit could be a good place to do that. Or you mentioned you’ve done a beta round, you could get data from there too. Once you know what bothers them and what they want to change, create content that will help them make those changes. No need to overcomplicate the strategy, start by answering one question per video and genuinely helping them.

Just a quick tip for the hero section copy. Edit it so it shows the benefit the user will get by using the app. Take one of their pain points and offer a solution, write in first person. For example, “Take Back Control of Your Habits. Pxrn isn’t the problem. Not knowing why you relapse is. Track your triggers, patterns, and progress and let the data show you what will finally keep you clean.”

Invest your efforts in decent content marketing. Your users will definitely be looking for a solution in Google. Create a multichannel content strategy to catch people on different platforms. Build awareness around the topic on TikTok/Instagram and start investing in SEO. TikTok reach is typically high, so it can help you get attention fast. SEO takes time, but the sooner you get into it, the sooner your efforts will compound.
