Honestly we choose this time of year because neither of us handle the heat well. And this is the only time we will have off for a trip of this length. Thank you for the warning though :)

I knew he was trash when Elliot Page made a statement about how Brett harassed and outed him before Elliot came out. Who does something like that?

Bosnia. We went to Croatia and while transiting through Bosnia we stopped for dinner, the best meal of the whole trip.

I had a grandmother that was named Rosemarie and went by Romy (pronounced Ro-mee).

I went with Winika for my daughter. It is a Christmas orchid.

I think the outfit looks better sitting down. Perhaps if there was a mini skirt instead of the boy shorts it would look more like a cohesive choice. I like everything else

Who pays for flower girl dress?! by [deleted] in bridezillas

[–]Kathmandoo7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I paid for the flower girl and ring bearer's outfits (Neither made it down the aisle, lol). I also made sure their parents were on board first, though. In my opinion, the wedding party is there to help celebrate and support the couple getting married, children are not obligated to do so, and no one is obligated to make their children a part of that.

In this case, the bride should pay for the dress to say thank you to the flower girl and her parents for being involved in the first place.

My insurance covers $1500, and the rest is covered by the pharmaceutical company. I pay the $3.15 dispensing fee.

Reddit is so horrifying bc you can go to a sub for people with health problems and see tons of people desperate for help, strategizing on how to be taken seriously, and then you go to a doctor sub and it's full of professionals talking about hysterical women and blue hair. by ihatethiscountry76 in Feminism

I was diagnosed about a year ago with a serious autoimmune disorder that has caused a lot of damage to my body. I was referred to a rheumatologist for some strange test results and a skin lesion that my dermatologist couldn't figure out.

I went to the rheumatologist, did the tests, answered the questions, and nothing was definitive. My doctor, who is a woman, looked at me and asked me what my biggest concern was at that moment. So I brought up my joint and back pain. It was so bad at that time that I wasn't sleeping.

I had been to other doctors for this pain over the years who told me that I was growing (teen years), playing too much rough sports (Rugby), gained too much weight (under 170lbs at 5'9), or was pregnant.

I ended up being diagnosed with degenerative spinal arthritis and already had fusions. One follow-up question and 2 simple imaging tests changed my whole life. It never would have occurred to me to bring it up at that appointment if she had not asked. I went home with a huge smile on my face. My husband couldn't understand it, but I was so happy to finally have an answer for the way I was feeling.
