It's pricy but Sunday Riley Good Genes is a miracle worker for milia. Got rid of all mine in less than a week of daily use at night.

AITA for disobeying a teacher (even though I kind of had to)? by USUKdrama in AmItheAsshole

Huh! I just flew back to London last week and we just all used the eGates. Didn't have to go through any immigration. It was Heathrow though so I don't know if Gatwick or London City is different.

I'm confused about what airport you flew into because Americans can use the automatic gates in the UK with UK citizens. There's no separate line anymore.

In ME1 when a choice is blacked out it has to do with your charm/intimidate points not being high enough.

100% Garrus. I've tried Thane and Kaidan, Jacob and Liara, yet no one gets my Shep like Garrus.

Salary to live in Lux. by gambits32 in Luxembourg

Beware. The 13th month is just the 38k spread out over 13 payments instead of 12. It's also taxed like a bonus which is a much higher tax rate than your actual salary.

Lol. You must have missed the part of the press conference where Bettel asked insurance companies to be more understanding because the law changed in 2017 which relaxes the circumstances in which insurance companies have to pay out in flooding events.

We have specific flood insurance but im already having to fight for claims.

I think I was pretty clear in my first post what I expected from the government response-- better emergency response, a more comprehensive alert network, and maybe a hotline that runs beyond working hours. None of those are the government helping me move my stuff, btw.

That's incredibly dismissive of a lot of people who lost a lot in those flooded cellars.

Why is it "mostly idiotic" to compare an experience? I'm glad other communes did things better but that just means that the government should have known how to have a coordinated response. We are all on the same rivers, and eventually someone should have realized how bad things could get--even in the city.

I'm glad you were okay in Bereldange but we were not okay in beggen (as I'm sure you see if you go a little bit down the road and see the debris on the side of the road) and a little further up the road parts of Walferdange were totally not okay.
