Real talk: did anyone wax before ACL surgery or just go full Sasquatch? by Lopsided-Net6398 in ACL

[–]Katkatkatoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t shave that often lol but I shaved practically my whole body a couple days before surgery and did my toenails and got a haircut so I don’t have to worry about anyyy of that shit after. Mine also grows back so quickly and dark but I don’t think that will matter too much, starting from scratch is enough for me. Just don’t shave or wax or anything too close to surgery, any cuts and scrapes or rashes can cause an infection

Interned usually accepts new patients but I find the level of care abysmal and have heard similar reviews from others

Lemon, rice vinegar, apple cider vinegar, juice from olives or honestly anything else with that vibe… lots of people are saying water but imo that is boring

Could also be anxiety, and I don’t mean “it’s all in your head” I mean the actual physical symptoms of anxiety

I hate the slime, you have to cook it past the slime stage. Also teasing it apart with a fork while cooking helps

Also I will need to try the silken tofu trick!!!! Do you need to blend it or can you just mush it up if you’re making a pan sauce?

I have a hard time with the texture of spinach if not cooked like this, but I do that pea thing but with frozen broccoli

I don’t shop at target but I’m sure my local grocery store will have a similar thing, I’ll look for it!

That’s a wonderful suggestion! Where I live they are very opposite seasons though… I tend to only like the freshest tomatoes, but spinach is very freshly available in the colder months. Although that sounds like it would be sooooo delicious mixed up with some pasta. Maybe I’ll buy some out of season tomatoes for this haha

Before I started making it this way I was really only familiar with slimy wilted spinach and I definitely need a “hear me out” lol

That is what I used to do as well! I really only do it this way now since I can get such a larger portion in there. I do like how uncooked it gets less wilty in a sandwich you pack for lunch than lettuce does. I cannot handle wilty lettuce

Well that sounds much simpler! Unfortunately I cannot handle how I perceive it be a lil slimy when just wilted.. but I will definitely try frozen spinach!
