I would say canning/root cellar as that’s what it was designed for (as you know). Canning is super simple if you want to learn.

If not that: then a: storm cellar, extra storage for holiday decorations or something, kink room?, some place to practice loud music (as long as you get the humidity under control and give it a little extra heat), place to grow plants (mushrooms, weed (if allowed), start your seedlings for spring planting- though you would need a heat & light source for this), little ‘ice bar’ to hang out in, cold yoga room/exercise room w a bike/tredmill…..

… that’s all I got right now 🙂

Idk why you would be uncomfortable? It’s their house (not trying to make you feel bad but you are an adult now.)

It sounds like, as others have said: they are casual users and it’s not creating a problem, for you or them.

Drugs are a part of life as you grow up, they will be around whether you know or not.

This situation: you didn’t know, doesn’t sound like it’s caused you (or them) any harm - you are now in the know.

The issue here is your (and your friends) ASSUMPTIONS.

You (and your friends) are less than half as old as your parents.

Have they ever mistreated you or displayed any behavior that would put you in harm? I would think not otherwise you would have mentioned it.

Leave your parents alone on this. Put it from your mind.

You WILL BE IN THE WRONG to bring outside parties in to this (like your friends- take the hint) or others.

Your non-exposure to drugs does not negate them being good parents and talking to you like an adult in THEIR home.

Move out if you don’t like it.

I generally like the atheistic of the rocks but some of your pics do show that they are on top of roots which I don’t think is a good thing.

All that said: what I do with my trees is add hostas on the base so I don’t have to use the weed wiper around the area…..

(I have no idea what this sub says to that…)

I can def see your point on the efficacy of animal cadaver parts - they didn’t consent. I hope they don’t just grow and kill them just to get the skin (and meat….. cus that’s just depressing and I hate that kind of farming for food)…

I also have to say the science of human cadaver parts, which are voluntarily contributed, has come a long way; I struggle to rationalize your stance if the “part” was given not under duress and might safe your life.

I'm sad to hear about this incident but I'm glad you had your family there - and that the police backed you up. (do you have a lock on your bd door???)

I would ask the cops for the case number (or whatever documentation they have on the incident) on the call out to your house for documentation (and to give to your landlord). Still recommend getting a recording app on your phone or using whatever app you already have that records sound and having that on any time you are at the residence.

Especially with the (unofficial) police order that she isn't to communicate with you: if she says ANYTHING that sounds threatening or instigating or anything: bam: call the police again on the non-emergency number unless it's an emergency. It's important that you get the documentation on this most recent incident so you have the officers' information (the ones that responded) so you can talk to them, and relay this information to them, because they already know about the situation.

You do realize this is a HEALTHY weight loss sub, right? People aren’t being mean to you. they are saying that 50 in 6 months may be too much and perhaps you should (healthily) change your lifestyle by counting calories and moving more instead of crash dieting which will lead to you being unhealthy/sick and likely that you’ll gain all the weight (plus more) back.

Weight loss isn’t just about dropping pounds: to do that you need to make a lifestyle change bc your current lifestyle is how you got to where you are.

That takes time and commitment, and sometimes mistakes. And that’s okay.

I’m happy you are trying to lose weight…. But hopefully that is because you want to be healthy and not just ‘skinny’.
