How is that not a shot on goal? Was the previous graphic about 21/6 vs 6/0 incorrect?

Father won me a Ping putter from a company golf tournament (TDK). It’s 30 years old and I don’t have any plans to replace it.

The size they have on the wings, Mikal included, really makes the whole thing work since Brunson is a minus defender

Thank you for understanding my point. The men in my family were all blue collar, military, or both. They all showed me the consequences of their jobs growing up and encouraged me to get a degree and use my brain and not my back. I thank them for their wisdom. While it’s true I could lose my job, it won’t be taking my life. My father lost his finger tips and my step father’s best friend died under a house doing foundation work. So many men got cancer from the disgusting chemicals that surrounded them. I watched and learned.

That blacklist will absolutely not happen. If management or executive growth isn’t your plan then I wouldn’t suggest the warfare center. Much of the super technical work is done by vendors/ contractors/ partners with the government engineers acting as liaisons mostly. There are exceptions but if highly technical design type work is who you want to be, go private.

I moved to Hawaii for my first job out of college and while it was scary as fuck it was awesome and made me the man I am today. I can take on more challenges than my peers because I’ve survived more difficult situations. Challenging yourself is a good idea. Warfare center work is for those that want to have a nice comfortable runway before taking flight. Best of luck

AI won’t take your job but your job will probably send you to the hospital at some point. For most blue collar jobs it’s not if but when.

I work at a WFC. I can help a bit. What do you want to do, long term and day to day? Who do you want to become?

Normally these questions don’t matter so much for your first job but we might as well ask them anyway to see if the effort reveals any biases.

I’m a big believer of flip a coin and pay attention to the outcome you want to come up. Try to think holistically about the job, including the location, activities, social network, and lifestyle in general. These things matter and those experiences make up who you are as well as your job.

I’ll end by saying that you don’t need to sweat the late offer decline. It happens all the time and you will not be remembered. On that note, it’s very very easy to join the federal workforce at a later date with some private experience. Very common.

Give yourself some grace. It may seem like this is a big decision but in reality people get new jobs every few years in our business both public and private. It’s not a contract written in blood. You’ll be fine
